Minnesota Vikings Vs. Arizona Cardinals: Bold Predictions For NFL Week 11

The Minnesota Vikings are set to face off against the Arizona Cardinals in what will be a major NFC showdown this week. Both teams are in the mix of the playoff race, with a very talented group of teams fighting with them to earn a spot in the final playoff picture.

Sam Bradford and the Vikings were once considered the best team in the NFC. Now that they have lost four straight games, that title is in major jeopardy. Minnesota still needs to figure out how to fix quite a few holes and they need to do it quickly, or else they will end up falling out of the playoff picture.

Arizona, on the other hand, has a 4-4 record and seems to be playing better football of late. Bruce Arians and his team started the season slow after making it to the NFC Championship Game last season, but there is no question that they have the talent necessary to make a run at the championship game again. They need their offense to start stepping up moving forward in order to make that happen.

Needless to say, this game has playoff implications for both teams. They are both expected to make the playoffs when everything is said and done, but one team will take a step back this week.

All of that being said, what bold predictions can be made for the Minnesota Vikings vs. Arizona Cardinals in NFL Week 11?

Stefon Diggs Breaks Out with Another 100 Yards, Two Touchdowns

One of the biggest surprises this season has been wide receiver Stefon Diggs. He will break out this week with yet another big performance, despite going up against a tough Arizona defense. Diggs will rack up at least 100 yards receiving and will catch two touchdown passes as well during the game.

Carson Palmer Racks Up 350 Yards, Three Touchdowns

If the Cardinals are going to reach their full potential, they will need Carson Palmer to step up. He has been inconsistent throughout the majority of the season to this point. Palmer will break out this week against a tough Minnesota defense with 350 passing yards to go along with three touchdowns.

Minnesota Will Shut Down the Arizona Running Game

Minnesota has to keep David Johnson in check in order to win this week’s game. Johnson has been one of the top playmakers for the Cardinals’ offense so far this season. That being the case, the Vikings are going to shut down the Arizona running game and will force Palmer to beat them through the air.

Arizona Forces at Least Three Turnovers

Whether the turnovers come via interceptions or fumbles, the Cardinals’ defense will force three throughout the course of the game. Sam Bradford has played well this season, but his has had turnover issues throughout his career. Arizona will put pressure on him all game long and will end up making some big plays throughout the course of the game.

The Arizona Cardinals Pull Out a Tough Win in Overtime

Both of these teams are going to bring everything they have to the field. They know how important it could end up being when the playoffs come around. Arizona is going to find a way to make the necessary plays down the stretch in order to pull out a tough win in overtime.

Expect to see this game come down to the last possession if it doesn’t end up going to overtime. These two teams are very similar and are evenly matched.
