‘Sister Wives’ Spoilers: Meri Brown’s Catfish Scandal Explodes, Robyn Brown Files For Divorce
Nothing says “ratings bonanza” like watching a reality family implode, and the latest Sister Wives spoilers do just that! The new season of the show, which centers around the polygamous Brown family, promises to have lots of drama, including a catfish scandal, and the long-suffering sole legal wife of Kody Brown finally filing for a divorce.

The first set of Sister Wives spoilers come to us courtesy of Radar Online, who spill all the details about Meri Brown’s catfish scandal. According to the site, Kody himself feels responsible for things exploding the way they did, and he admits to his daughter Mariah that he was the “catalyst” for the catfish scandal.
Said Kody, “I am not doubting that I was somewhat of a catalyst. That private conversation — it was a mistake to have it filmed.”
Mariah has yet to come to terms with what happened between Meri and Kody, and both Meri and Kody admit that the online affair put a lot of strain on their long-term relationship.
And that’s not all the drama that the Brown family faces! According to the latest Sister Wives spoilers released by Life & Style Weekly, Kody Brown is in a world of financial trouble, and the wives are starting to feel the repercussions.
The outlet has exclusively obtained some Kody Brown’s financial documents, and they reveal that he’s in a six-figure debt. These money problems have actually prevented the wives from striking out on their own, but this latest revelation of Kody’s debt have made all the wives want to leave the relationship for good.
One of the biggest financial problems plaguing the Brown family has to do with the medical bills incurred by Robyn’s son, Dayton. A few years ago, the teenager suffered extensive damages to his face after an ATV accident, thus necessitating reconstructive surgery. And while the teen’s insurance covered a few of the expenses incurred, the vast majority of the damages had to be covered by Robyn, which resulted in a lien being placed on her Las Vegas home that was only released in April of 2015.

And the latest Sister Wives spoilers released by the International Business Times suggest that Kody’s financial woes are just beginning now that Robyn is determined to divorce Kody. The outlet spoke to Kendra Pollard, a friend of the family, and she exclusively disclosed that Robyn was simply waiting for the right time before she filed for divorce from her husband.
“She is quietly consulting with attorneys. She is waiting until she is financially secure before pulling the plug on her marriage and moving to Northern California. She did not want to be in a polygamist marriage.”
Kendra also revealed that Robyn’s initial goal was to have Kody separate from his “spiritual wives” so they could work on their marriage. Unfortunately, his relationship with them ultimately spelled the demise of their own marriage, and according to the latest reports, he’s also on the outs with Meri, Janelle, and Christine.
Another thing that led to the demise of Kody’s relationship with Robyn: The infamous “hot wife” comment to her.
“You used to be known as the hot wife. Unfortunately, we can’t sell that anymore.”
