Rosie Coker, Daniel Radcliffe Reportedly Split

Rosie Coker and Daniel Radcliffe have reportedly split, and Coker’s dad confirmed to the British tabloid Daily Mail that the pair have called it quits.

Rosie Coker met the Harry Potter star on the set of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince way back in 2007, but the two didn’t become an item for another four years.

Still, when Radcliffe discussed Coker, 23, the relationship sounded pretty solid. And the Potter star even talked marriage, praising Coker for putting up with him and worrying in interviews that she didn’t know what she was in for dating him. In happier days earlier this year, Radcliffe said:

“I’m a mess around the house. I talk nonstop. I become obsessed with things (fantasy football, most recently). And she listens to it, and she loves me for my oddness, my awkwardness – all of those things that I hate about myself.”

Radcliffe also said that, while he doesn’t seem himself as great with the ladies, Rosie was different and also kept him from having to date:

“I hated dating, because I’m crap at it! With Rosie, I didn’t know what was appropriate, like on which date you’re supposed to try and kiss her. I went to kiss Rosie and at the last minute lost my nerve and ended up kissing her neck, which is a very intimate place to kiss somebody on the second date. Fortunately, she just found it really funny.”

But in August, rumors swirled that the young actor was carrying on with his Kill Your Darlings co-star Erin Darke, and last week, Life & Style quoted an “insider” as saying Radcliffe loved and left Darke, breaking her heart:

“Erin thought it was a real relationship, going as far as introducing Daniel as her boyfriend… He’s flown her out to London and taken her on dates and spent plenty of time with her in NYC, but Daniel just up and left New York without a second thought… Erin was devastated!”

Coker’s dad commented to the Daily Mail, confirming the breakup and saying:

“Rosie’s not in this country at the moment. She’s trying to move on. She won’t want to talk about it.”

Reps for Daniel Radcliffe declined comment on his alleged split from Rosie Coker.
