Vicki Gunvalson Won’t Apologize For Rumors, Insists Shannon Beador Is Being Dishonest

Vicki Gunvalson made a lot of enemies this season on the Real Housewives of Orange County. Last season wasn’t easy for her either, but this time, she used personal and direct attacks on the women she once considered some of her best friends. When Gunvalson revealed she knew something about Shannon Beador at Meghan Edmonds’ candle party, fans had no idea what the secret was. After spilling the beans to Kelly Dodd and it slipping out in anger during the Ireland trip, Gunvalson was shunned from the entire group of ladies.

The secret Vicki Gunvalson was keeping was a domestic violence situation that allegedly happened between Shannon Beador and her husband, David. There has been no confirmation that anything physical happened between the married couple other than what Gunvalson is saying. Beador was arrested over a decade ago and there is a police report out there regarding the incident, but Shannon insists that David did not hit her. According to All About the Tea, Vicki Gunvalson will not apologize because Shannon Beador is not being truthful about her marriage. This is one time she is not going to say she is sorry and while what she did may have been wrong, she is tired of always being the one held accountable for things out of her control.

Things have been cutthroat for Vicki Gunvalson on the Real Housewives of Orange County. While she was trying to rebuild her friendships in Ireland, things went completely out of control. Instead of sticking up for Kelly Dodd when the women attacked her, Gunvalson chose to remain neutral. Because of that decision, when Dodd was ganged up on once again, she let loose on accusations that she heard from Vicki and the other women were infuriated. Shannon Beador was beside herself with disgust, Heather Dubrow insisted that Kelly was mentally ill, and Tamra Judge was angry that one of her good friends would perpetuate the rumor that her husband is gay. There was so much drama on that trip that fans were absolutely shocked at some of the things that were said.

On Monday night, the Real Housewives of Orange County will be airing part one of the reunion. Vicki Gunvalson has been shown yelling at the other ladies to “get off my show” in several of the previews that have been released. She is the OG of the OC and it appears that Bravo will do whatever it takes to keep her around. It is being speculated that Shannon Beador may exit the franchise because of the physical abuse allegations being made against her husband. She has attempted to do damage control, but there are not many people standing behind her on this one. Gunvalson insists that she was told that David Beador hit his wife and she is not going to apologize.

One apology did come from Vicki Gunvalson, and that was about repeating the rumor that Eddie Judge is gay to Kelly Dodd. It was more like a backhanded apology because she insists Dodd had already heard the rumors and the two were discussing that. Gunvalson likely is being more apologetic about that because she wants to rebuild her friendship with Tamra Judge. It seems that it will definitely take some time since Judge was still mad at her at the reunion show. It was taped just a few weeks ago and it is safe to assume not much has changed.

Whether or not Vicki Gunvalson apologizes to Shannon Beador is a moot point. It was made clear that the friendship would not be repaired and that both ladies would just walk away. If Bravo decides to keep both Vicki Gunvalson and Shannon Beador, the next season of the Real Housewives of Orange County will be interesting, to say the least.
