Kelly Clarkson Says ‘No’ To More Children, Insists Husband Has A Vasectomy: ‘You Are Getting Fixed, This Will Never Happen To Me Again’

Kelly Clarkson has opened up about her struggles with pregnancy, according to the Spec. The 34-year-old singer sure loves her two kids, but she admits that she won’t be having any more babies because pregnancy is always “horrible” for her.

The revelations came during Kelly Clarkson’s recent interview with Access Hollywood. While pregnancy is often viewed as the greatest chapter in a woman’s life, for the “Stronger” singer, her two pregnancies were probably the worst two chapters in her life.

Kelly Clarkson has two children with husband Brandon Blackstock: 2-year-old daughter River Rose and son Remington Alexander, who was born this April. But the “Because of You” singer says it was enough and revealed that she had even asked her husband to get a vasectomy.

“I was literally pregnant with Remi, and I was like [to Blackstock], ‘You are getting fixed. This will never happen to me again.'”

And with Kelly Clarkson saying that she will probably die if she ever gets pregnant again, vasectomy sure seems like the best option for the singer and her husband. Vasectomy is performed on male patients in about half an hour and cuts off the supply of sperm to a man’s semen.

“Everyone’s like, ‘Oh, you’re getting your tubes tied…’ No, they’re gone. My husband, like, while I was pregnant we agreed that he was going to get snipped…”

But in no way does this mean that Kelly Clarkson regrets having her two children, no matter how hard the pregnancies were for her. All it means is that Clarkson has “the worst pregnancies.”

“I would die if I had to do it again. It was horrible.”

And when Kelly Clarkson says “horrible” she means “horrible horrible,” because when she was pregnant, it wasn’t nausea or anything common like that – it was much worse. The singer revealed that she would end up hospitalized and dehydrated, while her friends and family had to come to her house and she was on fluids.

Kelly Clarkson said that “apparently that’s what it takes to make amazing babies,” adding that both their daughter and son are “stellar.” But the “Stronger” singer says no matter how stellar and amazing her kids are, she will never get pregnant again.

Pregnancies not only bring “amazing” babies into this world but also make women feel more empowered. That’s exactly what Kelly Clarkson feels now that she is a mother. In fact, motherhood comes with benefits if you have lots of stuff in your life that you don’t want to do anymore.

“Having kids cuts out all the bullsh*t in the sense that I don’t have time to do stuff I don’t want to do anymore.”

Kelly Clarkson also added that she feels “way more confident” now that she is a mother of two and has survived through these two painful pregnancies. But it no way does it mean that Clarkson, who is a working mom, has more free time now. No, she has a lot going on all the time, but she admits that she feels like she can do “anything” now.

“I feel like the head of the village.”

And if Kelly Clarkson didn’t go through these painful pregnancies, her 2-year-old daughter, River Rose, would never take part in the #DiabetesDanceDare campaign, which recently went viral on Twitter.

Last month, Kelly Clarkson shared a video in which her daughter shows off her cool dancing moves, according to Today. The “Stronger” singer was challenged by her friend Melissa Peterman, and her daughter looked like she couldn’t contain her excitement.

As Kelly Clarkson hits the play button and as Salt-N-Pepa’s “Push It” starts playing in the background, the singer laughs that it’s “totally inappropriate” for a 2-year-old.
