Ashley Olsen’s ‘Ancient’ Boyfriend: Is Actress Dating Richard Sachs?

Ashley Olsen has maintained a low-profile life out of the spotlight. The actress, along with her twin, Mary-Kate Olsen, rarely makes headlines unless when it comes to her personal life. Ashley is typically known for dating much older men.

Now, it looks like Ashley Olsen has her eyes set on someone even older. The 30-year-old fashion designer and style icon has been spending time with financier Richard Sachs, according to E! News. On Friday, Oct. 28, a source told the outlet that Olsen and Sachs attended a spinning class at Flywheel in New York City together. The two even sat side-by-side together in the front row of the class. After the class, Sachs and Olsen were spotted holding hands and walking down the street.

“It looked romantic,” said one of the sources.

Meanwhile, Page Six is reporting that Ashley Olsen is dating Richard Sachs, who has been described as a “very rich, ancient man” by another source. Sachs is “ancient” because he is in his late 50s, according to Cosmopolitan.

“They sat in the front row of the spin class and rode on bikes next to each other. They were affectionate after the class, despite being sweaty.”

The source then added that Sachs looked “twice her age” and added that there is “no way that’s his natural hair color.” Another source told Page Six that Sachs is a “really good guy” whose passion is supporting young artists.

“He has a lot of money from working in finance. He’s a great guy who owns a lot of art. I believe he’s in his late 50s. He’s always at the art parties,” another source said.

If the two are dating, then Ashley could have moved on from her previously rumored boyfriend. She was previously photographed taking a hike with Pressed Juicery co-founder Hayden Slater, 33, earlier this month. The businessman took to Instagram to share a photo of himself holding hands with Ashley at a friend’s engagement party.

Then spies told Page Six that Olsen was spotted with George Condo, 58, at the Balthazar back in August.

“It was obvious something was going on [between them]. It looked like she was dining with her grandpa, but they were holding hands and snuggling,” the alleged source said.

The two were also spotted at the Mercer Hotel around the same time, but both Olsen’s reps and Condo’s reps said that their latest sighting was “simply a business meeting.”

Olsen’s last serious relationship was with Oliver Peoples CEO David Schulte, 47. She has since been linked to director Bennett Miller, 49 and Justin Bartha, 38. It seems like the Olsen twins have a thing for older men. Mary-Kate is happily married to longtime partner, French banker Olivier Sarkozy, 46. The two married in November 2015 in New York City where they also reside, according to Page Six. And like her sister Ashley, Mary-Kate has not commented on her marriage.

Amid the dating rumors, Ashley Olsen has been spotted looking a little down while taking a walk with one of her male friends earlier this month, reports the Daily Mail. On the other hand, she looked deep in conversation as she walked through the leaves with the mystery man. She was photographed wearing a navy blue over-sized jacket, matching sweater, sunglasses, and green rain boots. Olsen’s male counterpart wore a navy blue quilted jacket, a matching bucket hat, a plaid button-down shirt, and gray jeans.

This latest sighting comes after it was reported Ashley purchased a Greenwich Village spread for nearly $7 million, according to the Observer.
