Prince Harry’s New Girlfriend Is ‘Suits’ Actress Meghan Markle, And She Received Will And Kate’s ‘Seal Of Approval’ Too

Prince Harry’s new girlfriend is American actress Meghan Markle, the Mirror has confirmed. To top it off, she has reportedly met the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and received their seal of approval. They’ve already been dating for several months, according to numerous reports.

Meghan, who is best known for her role as Rachel Zane in the US legal drama Suits, reportedly met Prince Harry back in May when he was promoting Invictus Games for disabled servicemen, which is to be held next year. It is said that the pair has been going on romantic dates in London.

Born in Los Angeles, Markle is currently living in London, where Suits is being filmed.

Meghan Markle has been spotted at the Royal box during the Wimbledon event this 2016. The 34-year-old actress also posted a photo of the Buckingham Palace during one of her visits to London.

A source close to Prince Harry told The Sunday Express that the royal prince, who was linked to several women in recent years, “has been happier than he’s been for many years.”

“He’s in a very relaxed period of his life and Meghan has come along at the right time,” the source added.

“They are taking each week as it comes and just enjoying each other’s company but it’s fair to say that they love
seeing each other and there’s a definite chemistry between them.”

The insider added that Prince Harry was desperate to keep his relationship with Meghan private because he doesn’t want to scare Meghan off.

“He knows things will change when their romance is public knowledge but he also knows he can’t keep it a secret for long,” the insider continued.

Despite their efforts to keep the relationship quiet, Meghan may have inadvertently blown their cover when she posted an Instagram photo of herself wearing a blue beaded bracelet that’s identical to the one being worn by Harry, as reported by Daily Mail.

It is believed Harry bought the accessories during one of his recent trips to Africa.

His brother Prince William also took care to keep his relationship with Kate Middleton secret, which garnered a lot of media attention on her 25th birthday back in January 2007, prompting them to threaten media outlets with legal action if they didn’t leave them alone.

Like most couples, Prince Harry and Meghan have many common interests, foremost of which is their passion for humanitarian work. Meghan is working for several humanitarian institutions, including World Vision Canada and the United Nations. Meghan once visited Afghanistan to support American troops and their families.

On top of her knack for humanitarian work, Harry was reportedly impressed by the American actress’s energy and lust for life, not to mention her interest in yoga.

Markle was previously married to producer Trevor Engelson, but they split in 2013. She was also linked to professional golfer Rory McIlroy in 2014.

There were reports last year that Prince Harry was spotted getting cozy with singer Elle Goulding at the Audi Polo challenge in Coworth Park, Berkshire in July 2015.

Back in June 2015, there had been reports that Prince Harry was seen having a flirty conversation with Doctor Who actress Jenna Coleman at a polo bash.

“From their body language it looked like they were really enjoying each other’s company,” an insider told The Sun.

Another source said, “Harry sneaked outside with Jenna. He took her by the hand and led her away from the crowd in the sponsor’s tent. They sat alone and talked as things were winding up inside the party. It was a very flirty, very tactile encounter. She was leaning in to him and he had his hand on her knee.”
