Taylor Swift, Drake Collaboration To Appear On Singer’s New Album Amid Dating Reports

Is Taylor Swift’s upcoming song with Drake being featured on her upcoming album?

According to reports, including The Sun, the twosome has been trying to make time for one another so that they can work on their anticipated collaboration together, but sources claim that both artists have been so caught up in their schedules that they’ve never had the time to get in the studio together.

Taylor Swift is said to be a massive Drake fan, and the feeling seems to be mutual since the Canadian rapper was gracious enough to extend an invitation to the former country star for his recent 30th birthday celebration out in West Hollywood.

Hollywood Life makes it known that Taylor Swift and Drake definitely want to have a collaborative song out sometime next year. The only issue that always seems to come their way is the scheduling conflict, which both parties are trying to work out in the weeks to come, it’s been alleged.

“Taylor and Drake have been talking about collaborating on a song together for quite some time now,” the source reveals. “The project was put on the back burner because of their hectic schedules, but now seems like the ideal time for the two to start working together.”

Drake has been touring North America with his “Summer Sixteen” shows, having recently announced that he’s heading to Europe early next year to continue the tour abroad.

On top of that, the “Views” artist is also expected to release a mixtape in the next couple of weeks, but it should be stressed that Taylor Swift will not be featured on this particular body of work.

Sources stress that when Taylor Swift manages to link up with Drake for a song, she wants to be in the recording studio with him, as opposed to having verses sent to her and edited together in the final stages.

“It was actually Drake who first approached Taylor last year when she was on her ‘1989 World Tour,'” an insider tells Hollywood Life, explaining how the duo first became friends to begin with.

Drake loved the “1989 Tour” so much that he didn’t hesitate to reach out to Swift after the show.

The friendship between Taylor and Drake has really grown over the past year — so much that Swift is being invited to all of Drake’s parties, and then, of course, there’s the supposed fact that the rapper is just as desperate to record a song with Taylor Swift as she is with him.

“Now it’s just a matter of time that the two will hit up the recording studio. This isn’t something they want to rush. They want their project to be epic.”

It was just days ago when outlets claimed that Taylor Swift appeared very flirty towards Drake at his birthday bash in West Hollywood earlier this week, leading onlookers to believe she was making an unmistakable move on the “Too Good” hitmaker.

Meanwhile, Taylor Swift’s record label allegedly told her over the summer that she should abstain from releasing any new music until next year, fearing that the singer could face low sales following her public feud with the likes of Calvin Harris, Kim Kardashian, Kanye West, and Katy Perry.

A hit song with Drake is all that Taylor Swift needs to make people forget about the scandals she found herself in this past year, with insiders revealing that there will definitely be an album out by the 26-year-old before the summer, and it’ll very much feature a song with Drake.
