Miley Cyrus Flaunts Liam Hemsworth Ring For ‘Love,’ But Calls Off Wedding After Weed War?

Miley Cyrus has become famous for her outspoken style, from her chatty candor as a coach on The Voice to sharing her gender identity quest to hitting the campaign trail to encourage votes for Hillary Clinton. But when it comes to her romantic life, it’s more of a mystery, with rumors about her relationship with Liam Hemsworth ranging from a plan to elope to an epic fight over her pot smoking. Adding to the intrigue, Miley just dropped a bombshell about that engagement ring she’s been flaunting.

Miley and Liam are planning to elope, with the plot calling for the couple to tie the knot to ring in the New Year, according to a source cited by Hollywood Life.

Cyrus, 23, and Hemsworth, 26, reportedly chose the Graceland Chapel in Las Vegas as the perfect place to stage their wedding. The source also revealed how Miley and Liam feel about their decision.

“[They] have been talking about eloping on New Year’s Eve [for] a romantic way to ring in the new year.”

Also, the plan for Cyrus and Hemsworth to elope emulates her parents. Billy Ray, 55, and Tish, 49, eloped when they tied the knot in 1993. Despite that parallel, the source noted that Miley and Liam “know” that eloping may not please their families.

“They’ve decided they want to do things their own way,” explained the insider.

But Life & Style paints a very different portrait of Miley and Liam, describing the couple as having a “really bad” fight over her pot smoking that caused her to call off the wedding plans.

One of Cyrus’ and Hemsworth’s friends told Life & Style that the couple fought after Liam criticized her “for smoking too much pot.” Soon after that war of words over weed, the songstress ended their engagement, according to the source.

“She was screaming at him, telling him he was holding her back and making her hide who she truly is.”

Also, the friend revealed that Cyrus and Hemsworth “are still both so upset and angry.” However, Liam isn’t giving up, hoping that “they can work things out,” another source told Life & Style.

The singer has been seen flaunting an engagement ring, supposedly from Hemsworth. Cyrus just visited with Ellen DeGeneres on her talk show, where she finally talked about that famous ring, reported E News.

Miley initially accepted the diamond ring from Liam in 2012, but they called off the engagement just one year later. But then came the recent sightings and photos of the two back together, with that band back on her finger.

“There is a photo that got a lot of attention of your engagement ring,” Ellen commented. “Are you wearing it right now?”

Cyrus was wearing the ring, which she also has shown off on Instagram. Fans took that band as a signal that she and Hemsworth were engaged again, and E News confirmed early this year that the two had rekindled their romance,, with plans to tie the knot.

After Ellen had congratulated Miley, Cyrus elaborated on why she wore it, admitting that she told Liam it’s not quite her style.

“This is really weird because this is like real jewelry and most of my jewelry is made out of gummy bears and cotton candy and they don’t look that good together because they kind of mix up, so sometimes I replace it with an actual unicorn or a Looney tune,” confessed the “Wrecking Ball” singer, revealing her sweet response when Hemsworth questioned her.

“He’s kind of like what’s going on? It’s like, well, this isn’t really my aesthetic, but I’ll wear it because you love me.”

However, an insider revealed to E News that there is something very special about that engagement ri because Cyrus and Hemsworth collaborated on it.

“Miley and Liam worked on it together,” shared the source. “Miley specifically wanted it set in gold…because it was different and unique, like her. She didn’t want anything classic or generic.”

DeGeneres pointed out a way that Hemsworth might have saved himself some bucks on Cyrus’ engagement band.

“He could have saved a lot of money by giving you like a gummy bear ring,” teased the talk show host.
