Tamar Braxton & Adrienne Bailon Feud: Adrienne Dishes On Their ‘Uncomfortable’ Relationship

Tamar Braxton and Adrienne Bailon have reportedly been caught up in a pretty nasty feud ever since Braxton was fired from The Real earlier this year, and now Bailon is dishing the details on their drama.

Adrienne spoke out about Tamar after largely staying quiet about their feud in the months that followed Braxton’s firing during a new interview with Angie Martinez, where Bailon admitted that things are still “uncomfortable” between herself and the Braxton Family Values star.

Adrienne was asked about her feud and friendship on Angie’s iHeartRadio show, where Martinez quizzed Adrienne on where she now stands with Tamar following the drama that boiled over after Braxton was sensationally let go from the show in May.

“I will always love Tamar,” Bailon said when asked about Tamar in the interview before dishing the details on how Braxton’s departure and the negative attention surrounding her firing affected her and her fellow The Real co-hosts, Tamera Mowry-Housley, Jeannie Mai and Loni Love.

“It’s all so uncomfortable and change sucks,” Bailon said when discussing her friendship with Tamar after her firing, “but what I will say is, the four of us even having to go through that, it makes you stronger, it makes your bond stronger.”

“It was not a decision we made,” Adrienne continued, once again shutting down rumors that immediately followed Braxton’s departure suggesting that her The Real co-hosts were behind Tamar’s firing. “It really sucked that we were attacked… I can’t make those decisions.”

Adrienne Bailon then appeared to slam Tamar Braxton for the way she handled her The Real firing, which included Braxton igniting a feud by slamming her former co-hosts on multiple occasions, including referring to Adrienne, Loni, Jeannie and Tamera as “phony b*****s” and even accusing her former friends of using her name for publicity.

“I would want them to keep their heads up,” Adrienne said of how she’d like her co-stars to react if she was suddenly fired from the daytime talk show, before adding, “We worked really hard to get the show where it’s at today.”

Bailon didn’t dish too much more on her feud with Tamar that exploded after she was fired from The Real, but did add on the radio show, “You know, it is what it is. You’ve gotta keep pushing forward.”

Adrienne’s candid Tamar confessions come shortly after Bailon also spoke out about Braxton on HOT 97 radio, where she once again denied that she and her fellow The Real co-hosts had anything to do with Tamar’s firing and also reiterated that, despite their feud drama, she still “loves” the Braxton Family Values star.

“That’s above my pay grade, so to speak. I can’t make those kind of decisions,” Adrienne said on the radio show when asked about Tamar’s firing, adding that Braxton leaving the daytime show “had absolutely nothing to do with us.”

“I love Tamar,” Bailon then continued when asked where her relationship with Braxton currently stands amid reports that the two are still locked in a nasty feud. “I will always love Tamar.”

Adrienne’s latest comments mark one of the first times Bailon has publicly spoken out about Braxton in the wake of her firing back in May.

Though Bailon has stayed mainly tight-lipped, Adrienne did refer to Tamar as her “sister” in an emotional Instagram post uploaded just days after it was revealed that Braxton would not be returning for The Real’s third season.

“My SISTER Forever,” Adrienne captioned a photo of herself and Tamar earlier this year. “The greatest thing that has come from being on The Real is that I have found my best friend. My vault. My comedian & therapist. I love you. Always & Forever.”
