Amber Alert Pending for Memphis Baby Taken After Homicide In K-Mart Parking Lot, Second Amber Alert For Baby In Milwaukee [Breaking]

A one-year-old boy is missing following a homicide that occurred in a K-Mart parking lot in Memphis. An amber alert is pending for Artavius Brown Jr. and a city watch has been issued by the Memphis Police Department.

The boy was wearing black pants, a blue shirt with gray sleeves, and white Adidas shoes when he was taken by the suspect accused of shooting and killing a man in the K-Mart parking lot in Raleigh.

The man who took the child and allegedly shot the other man dead had been in an argument with the baby’s mother’s fiance. Suddenly, the father pulled out a gun, shot the fiance, then took the boy and left in a four-door, black Toyota Corolla.

The police have not yet revealed the names of the people involved or the deceased man. Memphis PD has issued a city alert so far and is working towards getting a statewide Amber Alert out for Artavius Brown, Jr.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation is responsible for Amber Alerts in the state of Tennessee. While no further information has been revealed at this point, updates will be released as they become available.

KLAAS Kids reveals the criteria for an Amber Alert in the state of Tennessee. Before an Amber Alert can be issued, certain criteria must be met. Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Mike Cox describes this in detail.

First, law enforcement must confirm the child has been taken. Law enforcement must believe that the child is in true danger and could possibly suffer bodily harm or death.

Further, there must be enough descriptive details on the suspect, the child, and the vehicle of which the child was taken in. This information is very important in order to believe that a live broadcast will be helpful.

A second amber alert has been issued for a baby boy who was abducted in Milwaukee. The one-year-old child was in a vehicle when it was stolen, WBAY reports. Taratino Carter was last seen just before 6:00 p.m. on Sunday evening wearing a gray and blue jumper with robots on it.

Taratino was inside a 2011 green Kia Soul when the suspect stole the vehicle. The license plate of the vehicle is 666-XUK and it has a “baby on board” sticker on it, as well. The vehicle was last seen traveling south in Milwaukee on Good Hope Road.

Anyone with any information, or if anyone sees this vehicle, please contact the Milwaukee Police Department at 414-935-7401.

Just a few days ago, a three-year-old Detroit boy was abducted and an Amber Alert quickly followed, the Detroit Free Press revealed. Fortunately, the Amber Alert was able to help this little boy be found safe and sound. Marvie Gardner was located inside a home unharmed. The suspect accused of taking the little boy is still missing.

The police are searching for Michael Lee Grayson. While the investigation is still ongoing, Deputy Police Chief Charles Fitzgerald revealed some of the circumstances leading to Marvie’s disappearance.

Grayson, along with his girlfriend, were visiting the home with their child. Suddenly, Grayson and his girlfriend began arguing, so she took their child and Grayson stayed at Gardner’s home all night. At some point throughout the night, Grayson took Marvie.

“When the child’s mother woke up at 5:30 this morning, she noticed the child was missing.”

Although police didn’t believe that Marvie was in danger, they wanted to find the child safe, therefore issued an Amber Alert.

While inconsistency does revolve around Amber Alerts and the criteria that must be made in order for one to be issued, some are very upset that an Amber Alert hasn’t yet been issued for baby Artavius. As of right now, a City Alert is still in place for the Memphis baby.
