Gwyneth Paltrow And Cameron Diaz Rap: It’s Pretty Much What You’d Expect [Video]

Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz busted out a freestyle rap on Chelsea Lately last night, and while the two are lovely and talented actresses, the rap was pretty much what you might expect.

To be fair, we can’t be too harsh, because this was obviously in good fun. Still, the duo’s rap to Chelsea Handler might have you covering your ears before too long with memorable lines like “You Chelsea! We heard that you got a brand-new studio/But we know you got on TV by being a ho,” that are sure to make Lil Kim and Missy Elliot proud. Ladies, ladies, is that really what you think of the rap genre?

In any case, Paltrow and Diaz came together for the satirical rap to congratulate Handler’s show relocation to a newly-minted production studio. The gals are already fine friends, as Handler and Diaz were brought together to celebrate Paltrow’s birthday in New York City lately with a handful of other A-list pals including Beyonce and Kristen Wiig, reports Just Jared.

Interestingly enough, VH1 reveals that Gwyneth actually has some experience on the rapping front. She spun some rhyme (or tried) on the Graham Norton Show last year with a confused-looking Geoffrey Rush sitting next to her.

Ladies, we love you, but next time grab 50 Cent on your way to the webcam. Here’s Gwyneth Paltrow and Cameron Diaz’s funny-yet-awkward (and NSFW) rap tribute to gal pal Chelsea Lately:
