Nelly’s Tour Bus Raided: Cops Seize Gun, Heroin And Marijuana

Nelly’s tour bus was raided last night at a border patrol checkpoint in Sierra Blanca, Texas. Police found heroin, a .45 caliber pistol, and marijuana on the bus.

According to TMZ, police confiscated 36 small bags of herion (totaling .64 ounces) and more than 10 pounds of marijuana. Police also said that the pistol found on the bus was loaded.

Nelly, along with six others were briefly detained by police. Rolling Stone reports that everyone on board the bus was searched. Eventually one of the passengers, Brian Keith Jones, stepped forward and told police that the illegal items belonged to him. Nelly and the rest of the people on the bus were let go while Jones was placed under arrest.

TMZ reports that Nelly’s bus was searched at an infamous checkpoint. Several musicians and actors have been arrested at Sierra Blanca. Fiona Apple was arrested last month after border patrol agents found hash on her bus. Snoop Dogg and Willie Nelson have also been busted at the checkpoint for drugs.

The rapper has not commented on the incident.
