Nicole Kidman Sides With Jennifer Aniston After Angelina Jolie’s Marriage To Brad Pitt Comes To An End
Nicole Kidman is Team Jennifer Aniston. Years after Angelina Jolie was accused of stealing Aniston’s husband while on the set of 2005’s Mr. & Mrs. Smith, a source claims Kidman has kept her distance from Jolie ever since their controversial romance began.
According to a new report, Kidman saw the end of Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie’s marriage from a mile away, and she has reportedly told friends that the conclusion of their marriage was karma for what they did to her friend, Jennifer Aniston, years ago.
Prior to Jolie being cast in Mr. & Mrs. Smith over a decade ago, Kidman passed on the role due to scheduling issues and thus made way for Jolie to take on the part — and to embark on a romance with Pitt, despite his marriage to Jennifer Aniston.
“Nicole has never been comfortable with her role in the history of ‘Brangelina,” an insider told Radar Online on October 18. “She’s hates that her absence on the movie really changed her friend’s life, especially since [Jennifer Aniston] could have trusted her not to seduce Brad.”

Jennifer Aniston was America’s unofficial sweetheart, so when news of Pitt’s alleged on-set affair with Jolie began swirling, many took aim at Pitt and Jolie. Then, fans were horrified to see Pitt so quickly go public with Jolie just weeks after his now-ex-wife, Jennifer Aniston, filed for divorce. While the rumored affair was bad enough, Jolie was especially targeted by fans due to her past history of getting involved with men who were already committed to other women.
Meanwhile, Kidman has reportedly been left sick after seeing how turning down a role turned so dramatic for her friend, Jennifer Aniston, who lost her husband to Jolie.
“It’s stomach churning to her that Angelina did exactly that when she got the role,” continued the insider, revealing that it “still hurts Nicole that [Jennifer Aniston] was so blindsided” by Pitt’s betrayal.
“Nicole has stayed the hell away from Angelina ever since,” the source added.

Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt haven’t been seen together for over a decade, but after news hit the web of his split from Jolie, rumors began swirling in regard to a possible reunion between the former couple — even though Aniston is currently married to Justin Theroux.
Years after her marriage came crashing down in one of the most controversial divorces of the early 2000s, Jennifer Aniston began dating Justin Theroux, her Wanderlust co-star. Then, in August of last year, after a years-long engagement, they tied the knot at their home in Los Angeles surrounded by family members and friends, including Jimmy Kimmel, Portia De Rossi, and Courteney Cox.
In September, just weeks after Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux celebrated their one-year anniversary, a Radar Online source claimed Aniston had secretly met Pitt at a New York City hotel months prior. According to the report, Jennifer Aniston has been talking about Pitt for a while, and getting to see him at the Gansevoort hotel in person was reportedly a “dream.” However, while the source claimed the former couple was caught together on “dramatic hotel security camera video,” that footage was left out of the report
“[Jennifer Aniston]’s just happy to hear he’s divorcing because she always held on to a little hope,” said an alleged friend of the actress. “He’s the love of her life, and she’s never really gotten over him… Now, [she’s] trapped between a rock and a hard place, because she does love Justin — but not as much as Brad!”
