‘Big Brother’ Couple Jordan Lloyd And Jeff Schroeder Welcome Baby Boy: See The First Pics Of Lawson Keith Schroeder

Jordan Lloyd is a mama! The Big Brother 11 winner welcomed her first child with husband Jeff Schroeder on October 13. Jordan gave birth to a baby boy via cesarean section, and the happy couple named their son Lawson Keith Schroeder, according to Us Weekly.

Both Jeff and Jordan posted photos of their son on social media. Lloyd captioned a photo of her two loves, Jeff and baby Lawson, and gave details about her difficult delivery in a poignant post.

“I have to brag on my husband @jeffschroeder23, because he was so awesome today!” Jordan wrote.

“I was so nervous about the C-section & he kept me calm during the surgery, when I was feeling sick he took over the skin to skin contact, fed me, & the list goes on. I’m so proud of him & I thank God for giving me a loving, supportive, & loyal husband. I love you.”

Jeff also posted a sweet photo of Jordan holding their son.

Lloyd and Schroeder shocked Big Brother fans earlier this year when they revealed that they had scrapped a planned wedding in Mexico and had secretly married at a California courthouse because they were expecting a baby. At the time, Lloyd told Entertainment Tonight that no one in her inner circle knew about her marriage or her pregnancy.

“It was really hard keeping it a secret,” Lloyd told ET after the couple announced their news in April. “None of my girlfriends in Charlotte [North Carolina] knew that I was pregnant, or that we even got married.”

In June, Jeff and Jordan told Us Weekly that they were expecting a boy, but the baby’s gender caught Lloyd off guard because she had been sure she was carrying a girl. In fact, when Lloyd and her husband posted their baby gender reveal on their Jeff & Jordan TV YouTube channel, the expectant mom admitted that she was “not happy” and “a little bummed” when she first found out their baby was a boy.

In the video, Jordan explained that she had been convinced that she was having a girl and that she really wanted one because she is always around guys. You can see Jordan’s stunned reaction when she got the news from her doctor in the video below.

In the interview with Us, Jordan Lloyd revealed that her husband put her in check after the call from the doctor.

“I was 100 percent positive that I was having a girl. And I already had the name picked out,” Jordan explained to the magazine. “I wasn’t excited at first [about having a boy], but then Jeff definitely put me in check. He goes, ‘What are you upset? It’s a healthy baby!’

Jordan later said all she cared about was having a healthy baby, and she talked about future mommy plans, like signing her little boy up for T-ball. Jordan’s husband added that he would do “typical dad things,” like play sports with his son, take him fishing, and teach him how to surf.

As for Lawson’s unique moniker, Jeff and Jordan previously revealed that they had trouble agreeing on a name for their son. Jordan said that she picked out names that are more southern, while Jeff said his choices were more “off the beaten path.” It sounds like they used a combination of both with Lawson Keith.

Jordan Lloyd is the second Big Brother winner to give birth this year. Earlier this year, Big Brother Season 13 winner Rachel Reilly and her husband Brendon Villegas welcomed a daughter.
