‘Dancing With The Stars’ Results Week 4: Which Two Couples Went Home Tonight? 9 Couples Remain After Double Elimination Tuesday Night

Who went home on Dancing with the Stars on Week 4 double elimination results show? Tuesday night’s show was shortened to one hour due to the broadcast of the Vice Presidential debate, but it was still jam-packed with entertainment.

Two couples faced elimination on Tuesday night and the couples at the bottom of this week’s leaderboard had plenty to worry about. By the end of the show, host Tom Bergeron revealed which couples were in jeopardy and then revealed the names of the two celebs who would not return for Week 5.

Although it was sad to see two couples go home, there was a big surprise for fans — two DWTS pros got engaged on the ABC stage. Sasha Farber proposed to a very excited Emma Slater and she said, “Yes!”

Last night, the 11 remaining couples put on quite a show on Cirque du Soleil night. The judges’ scores were combined with votes from fans to determine which couple would be leaving this week.

Once again, it’s so important for fans to vote for their favorite couples even if they rank at the bottom of the leaderboard — it could save them from elimination. The Inquisitr has compiled a list of the DWTS voting phone numbers and online voting links — keep it handy for the next round of voting on Week 5.

Before we get to tonight’s results, let’s take a look at how the couples ranked after last night’s Cirque du Soleil performances.

  • Laurie Hernandez — 30
  • James Hinchcliffe — 28
  • Terra Jole — 25
  • Maureen McCormick, Amber Rose — 24
  • Calvin Johnson, Jana Kramer, Vanilla Ice — 23
  • Ryan Lochte — 22
  • Marilu Henner — 21
  • Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds — 18

It wasn’t a big surprise to see Laurie and Val at the top of the Week 4 leaderboard. They received the first perfect score of the season, so there’s not a chance they are going home unless their fans forgot to vote.

Gold Derby is already predicting that the Olympic gymnast will take home the mirrorball trophy this season, but there are still several weeks to go before the final couples are announced, so anything can happen.

At the bottom of the leaderboard were Ryan Lochte (22), Marilu Henner (21), and Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds (18). Ryan has hovered around the bottom of the leaderboard all season but, so far, his fans’ votes have saved him from elimination.

Ranking at the bottom may not mean a thing for performers who have strong support from fans, but Buddy TV predicts that Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds will be one of the two couples eliminated tonight. Will the prediction turn out to be correct? Find out below.

Which couples were announced as safe and which two couples left on Week 4?

Before the announcements were made, viewers watched a performance by pop group DNCE (Joe Jonas, Jack Lawless, Cole Whittle, and JinJoo Lee), followed by an amazing performance by Maks, Val, Artem, Gleb, and DWTS troupe dancer Alan Bersten.

Tom Bergeron announced the names of the couples who were safe for another week, followed by the name of the first couple who was eliminated, keeping the name of the second eliminated a secret until the final moments of the show.

The first three couples named safe this week were: Marilu and Derek, Calvin and Lindsay, Amber and Maks.

The first couple eliminated Week 4: Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and his pro partner, Allison Holker.

After a very impressive performance by Derek Hough — shirtless, drumming, and dancing — Tom Bergeron made the final announcements but dragged things out a bit by naming a few couples at a time who were safe and in jeopardy.

Let’s cut to the chase. Here are the remaining six couples who were safe and the name of the second celebrity who was voted off the show this week.

Safe: Laurie and Val, Marilu and Derek, Calvin and Lindsay, Amber and Maks, Ryan and Cheryl, James and Sharna, Maureen and Artem, Terra and Sasha, Jana and Gleb.

The second couple eliminated on Tuesday night was: Vanilla Ice and Witney
