Amber Tamblyn And ‘Arrested Development’ Co-Star David Cross Get Married
Actress Amber Tamblyn and Arrested Development co-star David Cross have reportedly tied the knot, according to the folks at TV Guide. The couple, who have been dating since 2008, entered the world of wedded bliss on Saturday. If you were hoping to snag the actress for yourself, it’s probably time to remove her name from your list of potential spouses.
The 48-year-old Mr. Show alum and the 29-year-old Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants star announced their engagement in August of 2011. Just a little over a year later, the couple decided to make everything official. A representative for happy couple recently confirmed Saturday’s wedding with US Weekly.
Although Amber Tamblyn and David Cross would have announced their wedding at some point down the road, the news of the ceremony was brought to the world’s attention courtesy of filmmaker Lance Bangs. If the couple was hoping to keep the union a secret, then their plans were ultimately derailed thanks to the power of social media.
“Yo La Tengo playing Superchunk, Mission of Burma, and Pixies covers at David and Amber’s wedding,” Bangs wrote in a caption to photo on Instagram. The picture features the newlyweds locked in a loving embrace as the band plays on.
Fans of Amber Tamblyn can catch the actress as the daughter of a son of a gunfighter in director Quentin Tarantino’s action flick Django Unchained, which is scheduled to hit theaters on Christmas Day. Tamblyn will also star alongside Wes Bentley and Vincent Piazza in Gabriel Cowan’s upcoming drama 3 Nights in the Desert.
David Cross, meanwhile, will reprise his role as never nude Tobias Funke in the highly-anticipated fourth season of the critically-acclaimed sitcom Arrested Development. The show will reportedly arrive on Netflix’s streaming service sometime next year.
