Jennifer Aniston On Brad Pitt’s ‘Side’ In Angelina Jolie War?

Some famous couples who divorce issue joint statements, attempting to avoid drawn-out battles played in the media about which side is to blame for the split. But Angelina Jolie chose to take a very different route, shocking Brad Pitt and everyone except for those in her innermost circle by abruptly filing for divorce. Now in the wake of that breakup bombshell, teams are being formed, and a new report says that Brad’s former wife Jennifer Aniston is firmly on Team Pitt.

The romance of Aniston and Pitt ended on paper, but Jennifer still has feelings for her former husband, an insider told In Touch. Consequently, with regard to Angelina’s focus on getting full physical custody of the six children that Jolie shares with her estranged husband, the Friends actress is giving her support to Brad, shared the source.

“[Jennifer] is firmly on his side in the custody battle. She knows how much he loves those kids.”

In addition, when it comes to the allegations that Pitt abused his son during a fight on a plane, Aniston is reportedly defending him.

Hollywood Life cites a source who says that Jennifer is responding to the child abuse allegations by describing Brad as “good dad.”

Aniston, 47, did take some time before signing up for Team Pitt, with the insider revealing that she “couldn’t help but smile and gloat at first” when she learned the news that the 52-year-old actor was headed for a bad breakup after Angelina, 41, filed for divorce.

“[Jennifer] knew this day would come.”

However, the potential for Brad to lose custody of his children to Jolie amid child abuse claims has caused Aniston to have empathy for her former husband with regard to his parenting skills, added the source.

“She can’t help but stick up for Brad as a father,” explained the insider. “He loves those kids.”

Moreover, Hollywood Life cites another source who revealed that if the war for custody of Shiloh, 10, Vivienne, 8, Zahara, 11, Maddox, 15, Pax, 15, and Knox, 8, becomes even more brutal, Aniston will be there for Pitt.

“[Jennifer] will always love Brad, and Angie will always be the villain.”

There’s even more history involving Aniston and Pitt than previously revealed, with Pitt reportedly secretly reaching out to his former wife when her mom died in May. However, that contact between Brad and Jen turned into “one of the incidents that built Angie’s personal case for divorcing him,” according to insiders cited by Hollywood Life.

Jolie is described as “furious” that her husband had reached out to Aniston, and that fury reportedly contributed to the reasons for the divorce. But is that why the Friends actress considers Angelina to be a “villain,” or does that soap opera-style label result from the new bombshell that Jolie and Pitt were actually hooking up when he was still married to Aniston?

A bodyguard has stepped forward to confirm what previously was speculation, confirming that when Brad was married to Jennifer, he cheated on her with his then-costar Angelina, reported Us Weekly.

Jolie and Pitt weren’t just co-stars on the Mr. & Mrs. Smith set in Los Angeles in 2004, according to their former bodyguard Mark Behar. The duo that would become Brangelina also hooked up in their trailers in between filming and exchanged notes with sexual content, says Behar. All of this happened when Brad was married to Aniston (the two tied the knot in 2000).

“[Angelina] and Brad were constantly laughing and flirting with each other and acting like two school kids who had the hots for each other, and it was so cute,” revealed the former bodyguard.

“I caught [Pitt and Jolie] several times in each other’s trailers making out.”

Moreover, when they were wed years later, Behar “wasn’t shocked at all,” recalling that they enlisted him to help them exchange notes.

“They were sexual in content,” he added.

With that history, Aniston summed up her feelings by describing Brangelina’s divorce as “karma,” reported Fashion & Style, which cited a source revealing Jennifer’s summary of the divorce drama.

“Yeah, that’s karma for you!” the Friends actress reportedly exclaimed.
