‘Days Of Our Lives’: DiMera vs Kiriakis – Andre Discovering His Ethics – Brothers Get Closer? [Spoilers]

While chaos consumes Salem, Days Of Our Lives spoilers focus on characters other than Clyde, Xander, and Orpheus. Recently, actor Thaao Penghlis previewed what is coming up next for Chad and Andre DiMera. Expect them to get closer and there are hints that Andre may try to become more ethical — or at least that is what he wants people to think — and there will soon be a battle between the DiMera and Kiriakis families.

There are DOOL spoilers ahead. If you don’t want to know what to expect on the long-running soap opera, then do not continue reading.

According to the latest issue of Soap Opera Digest, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) will try getting closer to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn). Normally, Days Of Our Lives fans would be suspicious of this. After all, the two aren’t exactly best friends and Andre even tried brainwashing Chad right after Thomas was born. However, spoilers from the publication reveal Andre’s intentions might not be purely evil, at least not on the surface. Penghlis explained that his character does want to get closer to the widowed father. He also teased that Andre is trying to find “his own ethics.”

“You have Chad wanting to be ethical and Andre trying to discover his own ethics. But Andre also wants the DiMera family to survive. Even though Chad is hesitant, Andre wants to get closer to his brother. Now that Andre and Kate are working with Chad, it’s a team effort. But at the same time, Chad is the one who makes the final decision. Andre is trying to infiltrate DiMera Enterprises by convincing Chad and Kate that he is worthy of being considered because of his ideas and experience.”

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Lauren Koslow said in an interview that she thinks Andre DiMera might be a bit misunderstood. The actress explained that everyone expects Andre to be a villain, so he always acted that way. This wasn’t a Days Of Our Lives spoiler, but was Koslow’s theory on Andre’s character.

On a recent episode of Days Of Our Lives, Andre asked for Kate’s help. She asked if he really wanted to get closer to Chad and the character said yes. Fans wondered what his true intentions were, but perhaps Stefano DiMera’s death has him craving family. Viewers still shouldn’t trust him. It is surprising the villain wants to get closer to Chad. Well, it turns out that the gesture isn’t completely innocent. Spoilers reveal DiMera Enterprises is involved.

“Andre thinks that they should move in on the Kiriakis business. It has to do with power and income. The DiMera empire could have died with [Stefano], because the money was gone, as well.”

During the conversations between Chad, Andre, and Kate, Lauren Koslow’s character reminds Andre that he hasn’t been the most ethical person in the past. Kate isn’t afraid to confront Andre and say what she thinks.

As for conquering the Kiriakis territory, Sonny [Freddie Smith] asks Chad not to do it. Right now, the Kiriakis family is a target and Sonny feels it would be unfair and underhanded for Chad to take advantage. Days Of Our Lives spoilers tease Sonny thinks he gets through to Chad, but Billy Flynn’s character plans on moving ahead with the plan anyway. Even so, Chad does have some reservations and so does Kate. However, she tells Chad that the end will justify the means.

Thaao Penghlis also teased that when he is alone, Andre DiMera makes a mysterious phone call. The actor simply said that his character is going from “being bad to being diabolical.”
