Regarding injury news, it is certain that the combative midfielder Francis Coquelin will miss this fixture and possibly another two months of football, as reported by the Guardian.

On this issue, Wenger said, “Coquelin has a knee injury in the same place he suffered one against West Brom last year.”

“We don’t know if the damage is as big. We have to wait for 48 hours, but he left the stadium in a brace, so that’s the one negative. I’m a bit worried for that.”

Meanwhile, Per Mertesaker, Aaron Ramsey, and Danny Welbeck will also miss the clash, but Ramsey is likely to be available after the coming two-week international break.

In goal, David Ospina will keep his place as the Columbian had an amazing game in Paris against PSG. Ospine saved the day for Arsenal that day despite Arsenal being second best in almost every department.

Basel is traveling to London in a confident mood having not lost a game in last 12 games, and winning 11 of those. Basel won its last game against St. Gallen thanks to the goals from Matias Delgado and Seydou Doumbia. But, in the Champions League opener against Ludogorets at home, Basel could just earn a draw.
