Miranda Kerr Wants Kids With Evan Spiegel Because Flynn Is Now Asking For Siblings

Miranda Kerr’s devotion to her son with Orlando Bloom is inarguable, and this is the reason why the Australian model is looking forward to have more children. In an interview with Stellar Magazine, the 33-year-old revealed that while she is already satisfied with one, she is “definitely open to the possibility of having more.” Kerr and fiancé Evan Spiegel got engaged in July, and despite being successful in their own professions, the couple are aiming for a simple and intimate wedding.

Kerr revealed that she has already achieved her goals in modeling. What she wants to do now is to concentrate on her family. She told the magazine at that first she never wanted to be a model but opted to try believing that it could be lucrative.

“It’s kind of weird – I never took modelling very seriously. I was like OK, well, this is a means to an end. I will be able to work and pay the bills and meet creative and interesting people. I never really had that desire to be a model. The role model for me was always my grandmother, the way she carries herself, her style, her heart, the way she makes people feel good.”

Her modelling career started after she nabbed the top spot for the Dolly Magazine model search. She was 13 then, and the offers never stopped. She initially wanted to “stay in Gunnedah, get married, and have babies” but when her then boyfriend died because of a car accident, she figured it was time to explore other places to cope with the pain.

Apart from walking the runway for various designer labels, she also became known as Australia’s first Victoria’s Secret Angel after landing a deal in 2007. In 2013, her contract with the lingerie giant was not renewed with some alleging that Kerr was difficult to work with. Nonetheless, brand president Ed Razek said that Kerr’s other international commitments have posed problems in terms of scheduling. He said that Kerr “will always be an angel” for them.

Since then, Kerr has been focusing on other projects including her skincare line, Kora Organics. The mother-of-one is known as well for being an advocate of eco-friendly practices. Recently, she gushed to Harper’s Bazaar about Spiegel’s thoughtful present for her new home.

“This property was a dust bowl when I bought it and now it’s so green. Obviously I’m aware of the drought problem in California. This [Skywater 300] system really just pulls water out of the sky. It was a very thoughtful present because he knows how much I love a garden.”

The “atmospheric water generator” is exclusively crafted by Florida-based company Island Sky. It gathers the air’s humidity and then converts it into potable water. Island Sky aspires to be a part of the world’s solution to the water crisis.

Kerr is equally supportive of Spiegel’s endeavors. His company Snapchat has recently rebranded to Snap Inc. When the company announced its newest venture, Spectacles (a pair of sunglasses with video camera which would make it easy to make Memories), Kerr took to Instagram to show her support for her future husband.

Kerr’s former husband, Bloom, is happy about the couple’s engagement. While he and Kerr divorced in 2013, the two remained cordial in their aim to co-parent Flynn. She even told the Kyle and Jackie O Show that they “live across the street from each other” to make things easier for Flynn. They used to live in New York, but decided to move to Los Angeles to raise the five-year-old in a more naturalistic setting.

The Bonds Swim model wanted to give Flynn the same elements of her childhood which mainly involved playing outside. Now that they’re in Malibu, Flynn loves running and swimming “like a fish.” According to Kerr, it is also Flynn who commonly asks her about having brothers or sisters for the innocent reason that his friends have siblings.
