Chris Pratt Calls Out Angry Autograph Hunter [Video]
Chris Pratt can be as accommodating as any celebrity and even more generous than some, but like many people, Pratt has his limit, and he reached that point during a recent incident at Los Angeles International Airport. The Magnificent Seven actor was departing the airport and headed for his waiting vehicle when a flurry of fans and autograph hunters accosted him.
Instead of getting angry, Pratt graciously signed the offered magazine covers and posters, all while he continued to make his way to the black SUV. When Pratt signaled that he was finished signing and ready to depart, one fan reacted by cursing at the actor, and as a TMZ video reveals, Pratt wasn’t going to let that slide.

Everyone gathered at the exit though which Mr. Pratt exited LAX seemed pleased to find Chris willing to sign their items, as he made his way to the car, but, as TMZ reports, one fan was not left feeling as satisfied as the others. The irritated fan responded to Pratt’s refusal to sign his item with some choice words laced into a verbal assault, all of which instantly soured the good mood Chris had previously displayed. Instead of letting the matter go, Pratt called the individual out for his rude behavior.
“You’re cussing me out for not signing for you,” Pratt asked. “You should be nicer, you have a cross on your chest and you’re cussing me out?”
It’s a common practice in Hollywood to seek out autographs, which will later be sold for a high profit. As Mr. Pratt indicates, the practice isn’t unknown to Hollywood celebrities, and while it may be tolerated, Chris expresses his feeling that he’s certainly not obligated to sign anything.
“I made you guys a bunch of money just now,” said Mr. Pratt. “Come on man don’t be a jerk.”

Anna Faris and Chris Pratt are among the most envied celebrity couples in Hollywood, especially at a time when it seems even the most durable romances are now falling apart. As the Huffington Post reveals, however, Pratt and Faris aren’t without troubles of their own. They argue, just like any married couple, but Chris reveals that they don’t follow the old standby advice so often given to newlyweds about not going to bed angry.
Chris reveals that he and Anna have rejected that steadfast rule and have often gone to bed angry because to do otherwise is very often too impracticable. As with most of us, Pratt and Faris are both working professionals, and sometimes that means waking up at very early hours to be on set for early shooting schedules.
“Sometimes you got [sic] to go to bed mad,” Mr. Pratt said. “But at least just touch toes and say, yeah, I know. I know. We’ll deal with it later. I need to get some sleep.”
One such argument might have had to do with Pratt’s leaner shape, which Chris revealed on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert was a source of regret for both Faris and himself. In preparing for 2014’s Guardians of the Galaxy, Pratt took on a strict diet, cutting out beer and other vices, as well as an intensive training program, which resulted in a more finely toned physique. Chris now reveals that it has been difficult for him to regain that slightly heftier weight.
“Yes, I do and my wife [actress Anna Faris] does too,” Chris responded when asked whether he missed his former physique. “She likes to cook and I don’t get to eat as much of her cooking as I used to. Yeah, I miss him.”
The Magnificent Seven, starring Denzel Washington, Chris Pratt, and Ethan Hawke, opens in theaters today.
