Rita Ora Stays Up All Night To Make Most ‘Honest’ Album Yet
Rita Ora has been hard at working on her new album. It’s been four years since she dropped her debut album, Ora. Since then, Rita has finally broke free from her record label, Roc Nation, and has signed with Warner Music.
Rita Ora has been working so hard on her new album that she was spotted leaving in the wee hours of the morning. Ora, 25, didn’t look tired and worn down during her recent sighting. The British pop star was spotted leaving a London recording studio at 3 a.m. on Friday morning, September 23. Ora managed to look fresh and vibrant in a pink backless halter top and distressed black skinny jeans, reports the Daily Mail.

She completed her look with a pair of black boots adorned with silver stars, and she draped a cream shawl over her black handbag as she entered a waiting vehicle. Despite the fact that it was still dark out, Ora wore black circular sunglasses. Ora also kept her signature blonde locks pulled back in a sleek ponytail. The singer was joined by Simi & Haze, also known as Haya and Sama Khadra.

On Wednesday, September 21, Ora was spotted leaving the same London recording studio, according to another Daily Mail report. This time around, she chose to wear a lipstick-red leather coat, which she paired with a concert T-shirt and light wash jeans. Ora finished off her look with a red beret and the same sunglasses, boots, and handbag.

Ora just opened up about how “personal” and “honest” she’s getting on her new album. She did not open up about what the album is about, but she did tease the album’s overlying themes.
“It’s just everything from my personal life to what I couldn’t do due to previous situations and now being free. I’ve never been freer than I am right now. It’s about everything from being a refugee, from flying to Kosovo and living in London, having this amazing city that’s crazy and full of lights – talking about real stuff.”
She told the London Evening Standard newspaper she’s “desperate” to release this new album to her fans as soon as possible. Ora’s fans will finally get to rediscover the singer through her lyrics.
“I’m desperate to get my music out. I think I’m now at a point in my life where I have a new amazing label, we really have taken it to the next level. It’s very song-based. It’s very real – real instruments, believable lyrics. I’ve not only grown as an individual but as a woman. People are going to see that.”
And, while Ora has been traveling to London to work on her new album, she said that she will be heading back to Los Angeles in October to finish it.
“I’ve been in a whirlwind but I’ve honestly been living my dream. I was living in New York for three months filming America’s Next Top Model, now I’m in London for two months recording every day with my dream team. Then I fly to LA in October to finish the album.”
The singer and actress has been hard at work on her highly-anticipated new album after she scored a deal with Warner Music. At the 2016 MTV VMAs, she gushed about her upcoming album, which sounds like it may have hints of pop throughout.
“I just signed a new deal. I can’t wait! I’m so excited, so this year [new music is coming] for sure,” Ora confirmed to VH1 on the VMAs white carpet. “I’m recording it in London, so I’ve definitely just kept it back to where I’m from, you know? And who I am and everything that I’ve become up to this point and just working with my friends and basically just making a record that I want my friends to dance to.”
Rita Ora has also been busy focusing on her acting and fashion career. She just wrapped up filming Fifty Shades Darker and Fifty Shades Freed.
