Kendall Jenner, Harry Styles Split: Jenner Focuses On Friends And Career

Third time is a charm for Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles. The rumored pair have ended their short-lived on-and-off affair once again. Kendall and Harry first hooked up around 2013, and then rekindled their romance over the New Year’s holiday back in December 2015. Since then, the two have been spotted hanging out again back in April and earlier this month.

It seems like Kendall Jenner’s relationship with Harry Styles just won’t work out. Every time they get back together, it ends in just a matter of days. The 20-year-old model and the 22-year-old One Direction singer have ended their relationship once again simply because Kendall “refuses to get caught up in Harry’s drama,” Us Weekly reports, via The Hamilton Spectator. Instead, Kendall wants to focus on her newfound relationship with 27-year-old rapper A$AP Rocky, along with her modeling career and her group of model friends.

Kendall’s sudden decision to call it quits with Harry comes just after it was reported that she wanted to settle down with the singer and actor. Earlier this month, People reported that Kendall was ready to get serious with Harry, with an insider claiming that he “has always been ‘that guy’ for Kendall.” However, he has been reluctant about being committed to the reality star, even though fans have been rooting for them to get back together.

“Harry has always been ‘that guy’ for Kendall. She would love to be in a relationship with him, but he’s always had issues settling down in the past with her because he has that rock star mentality.”

However, other reports suggested that Kendall Jenner and Harry Styles are “just friends,” despite the fact that they spent nearly three days together and were “super touchy-feely” during their latest string of sightings. Alleged insiders confirmed to Entertainment Tonight, via CBS News, that Styles and Jenner are not in a serious relationship.

“Nothing was ever going on with them,” one source said. “They hang out a lot.”

“They are just friends and hang out with a lot of the same people,” another source close to Styles added. “Nothing more.”

Kendall has revealed on her website and app that she is more “old-fashioned” when it comes to dating and relationships. She admitted that she would like to be chased by the guys.

“It’s not that I’m scared of asking a guy out or showing him that I like him, it’s just that I’d much rather be pursued. I definitely like the chase and the feeling of being wanted. And, the way I see it, if a guy isn’t going to put the effort and ask me out, then the relationship won’t work. It would be a waste of time for me. Call me a little old-fashioned, but it’s just what I like!”

According to a report via the Daily Mail, Kendall was seen leaving Kylie’s 19th birthday party back in August with A$AP Rocky. The two most recently got together at the Squares nightclub in New York City on Sept. 15. Kendall and A$AP were reportedly seen whispering in each other’s ear before leaving within five minutes of each other in the same black SUV. Kendall, who has also been linked to basketball player Jordan Clarkson, revealed in Allure’s October 2015 Beauty issue that she doesn’t like to discuss her personal life.

“I just – my personal life, I’m so young. Whoever I’m dating, or going to be dating, is young, too. So I don’t think it’s figured out. Do you know what I mean? So if I don’t know what it is, I’d rather not let anyone else know.”

In that same interview, Kendall dissed rumored enemy Taylor Swift, who also dated Styles, as reported by The Hollywood Gossip. She was asked if her group of model friends has a name like Taylor’s model squad.

“This is going to sound really, really lame, but we all call ourselves the Super Natural Friend Group because we all have such cool individual lives and we’ve been dreaming about them since we were so young.”
