‘Fear The Walking Dead,’ Season 2, Episode 12: Here’s How Nick And Madison Could Meet Up

AMC released images earlier in the week for Episode 12 of Fear the Walking Dead that showed Madison Clark potentially in the same location as where her son, Nick, barters for supplies. While it was unclear how Madison might know of this location, a new sneak peek video of Episode 12 gives a potential reason.

Spoiler alert: This article discusses Episode 12 (entitled “Pillar of Salt”) of Season 2 of AMC’s Fear The Walking Dead. Please proceed with caution if you wish to avoid spoilers.

The release of two images from the upcoming Episode 12 of Season 2 of Fear the Walking Dead, showed the prospect of Madison Clarke (Kim Dickens) meeting up with her son, Nick (Frank Dillane), soon. One image, in particular, showed Madison apparently in the same location as the warehouse where Nick and Luciana (Danay Garcia) go to barter for supplies.

While this may not mean that Madison and Nick will meet up in Episode 12 of Fear the Walking Dead, it is a good indicator the pair could be reunited soon.

But how did Madison end up in the warehouse? It is possible that Elena (Karen Bethzabe), who works at the hotel Madison’s group is now staying in, might know of the warehouse.

However, a new teaser clip reveals a group escaping from Colonia. This is the location of Nick’s group. We know from Episode 9 of Fear the Walking Dead that Alejandro (Paul Calderon), who oversees Colonia, does not permit people to leave his safe haven. This has been reiterated in the official Episode 12 teaser that can be seen at the very bottom of this article (entitled “Fear the Walking Dead: Next on: ‘Pillar of Salt’ Episode 212?). Yet, the clip directly below shows a family attempting to escape from Colonia.

It needs to be noted that this clip has not yet been uploaded to AMC’s official YouTube account. However, it certainly does look like an official clip for an upcoming episode of Fear the Walking Dead.

The family-of-three are sneaking out to the Wall in what is likely an attempt to smear the blood of the infected on themselves to aid their escape from Colonia. It is unclear if this attempt to escape is successful or not, as the teaser clip ends as the trio approaches the bus that is the access point to the Wall. Prior to that point, though, the daughter is asking why they have to leave Colonia. Her mother replies, “It’s not safe here anymore, baby.” It is unclear why they think it is no longer safe in Colonia. However, the very last scene in the officially released trailer for Episode 12 of Fear the Walking Dead shows what appears to be the father of this family unit inside the bus, cutting up one of the infected.

If this family really does escape Colonia, could they end up at the Rosarito Beach hotel where Madison’s group are staying?

To back this idea up, at the very end of the officially-released clip, Madison is seen asking, “Was he safe?” Could she be asking this new family about Nick? If so, and she knows Nick is alive, could this mean she will venture out in search of her son? Only by tuning into Episode 12 of AMC’s Fear the Walking Dead will all be revealed.
