Jennifer Garner Caught Husband Ben Affleck Texting His Ex-Girlfriend Jennifer Lopez?

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck may be done for good.

Although the actress and her estranged husband announced they were ending their marriage in June of last year, they’ve been spotted together frequently ever since, and many reports have claimed that a reunion could be in their future. Now, however, their possible reunion could be in jeopardy. Or is it?

While a recent report suggested that Affleck was back in touch with his ex-girlfriend Jennifer Lopez, Gossip Cop has shot the report down, claiming that there is no truth to the report of Affleck’s communication with Lopez, who recently split from longtime boyfriend Casper Smart. Additionally, said the outlet, Jennifer Garner and her husband, Ben Affleck, are still separated and have no plans on reconciling.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck tied the knot in June 2005 and announced their split a decade later.

“After much thought and careful consideration, we have made the difficult decision to divorce,” the former couple said in a statement to E! News last June. “We go forward with love and friendship for one another and a commitment to co-parenting our children whose privacy we ask to be respected during this difficult time.”

At the time of their statement, a source told the outlet that Jennifer Garner and her estranged husband had been living separately and staying in hotels for about 10 months as they continued to co-parent their three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Samuel.

Since their separation, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have remained dedicated to their parenting efforts, and over the summer, as Affleck filmed Justice League in Europe, Garner and the kids spent several weeks overseas and were seen taking in the sights of Paris, France as a family. Since then, the couple enjoyed a 4th of July parade visit and were recently photographed joining their kids on their first day of school.

Around the time of their split last summer, Jennifer Garner’s marriage to Ben Affleck was targeted by rumors of a possible relationship with their nanny, Christine Ouzounian. As Us Weekly revealed, Affleck and Ouzounian reportedly grew close to one another during the actor’s separation from wife Jennifer Garner and continued to date after their split was announced.

After news of the scandal broke, Jennifer Garner addressed the issue during an interview with Vanity Fair. While chatting with the magazine in February of this year, Garner said that she was unaware of any romance until after she and Affleck parted ways.

“Let me just tell you something,” Jennifer Garner told the magazine. “We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny. She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not a part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives.”

Jennifer Garner revealed that months after the alleged affair, she was still having to deal with the damage done by Affleck’s ties to the nanny.

“I have had to have conversations about the meaning of ‘scandal,'” she explained.

Although Jennifer Garner has faced allegations of faking her marriage in the eye of the public, she confirmed that was not the case and revealed that she was dedicated to her time and relationship with Affleck.

“It was a real marriage,” Jennifer Garner insisted. “It wasn’t for the cameras. And it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work.”
