Arnold Schwarzenegger Had ‘Hot Affair’ With Brigitte Nielsen
Arnold Schwarzenegger and actress Brigitte Nielsen had a ”hot affair” during the 1980s.
According to Fox News, the Governator’s fling with Nielsen occurred when the actor / politician was living with Maria Shriver. Arnie said that he wasn’t married to Shriver at the time of the affair.
Details about the fling will be revealed in Schwarzenegger’s new memoir, Total Recall, which comes out Monday. For now, all we know is that Schwarzenegger said that it was a “hot affair.” He also said that the he knew his fling with Nielsen wouldn’t last. In fact, Arnie decided that he wanted to marry Maria Shriver shortly after his relationship with Nielsen ended.
Isn’t that sweet…
Schwarzenegger and Nielsen’s relationship isn’t exactly new news. The affair was made public last year when Nielsen wrote about the affair in her memoir. This appears to be the first time, however, that Schwarzenneger has publicly admitted to sleeping with Nielsen.
According to the actress, the fling occurred while filming Red Sonja. Nielsen said that she did not know at the time that Arnie was in a serious relationship with Shriver.
Nielsen wrote:
“How serious it was with her, I don’t know. He never spoke about her — and the way he was living his life with me, I felt I was the only one. Then I realized about him and Maria and, wow, I felt cheated. Maybe I wouldn’t have got into it if he said ‘I’m going to marry Maria and this is dead serious,’ but he didn’t, and our affair carried on.”
