‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers: Victor Lays Out A Plan, Luca Gets Desperate, And Adam Reaches Out To Chelsea
The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Friday’s episode is not to be missed. Victor orchestrated an escape for Adam and this will shake things up significantly in Genoa City. Travis returned and showed up at Summer’s engagement party and the action continues during the August 26 show.
Adam is at a cabin away from Genoa City and Young and Restless spoilers detail that as he realizes that Victor is the one who got him there, he will say that he wants to head back to prison. However, as SheKnows Soaps shares, Victor will talk about how he has to fix what he did and he details that he has a plan that will enable his son to take Chelsea and Connor far away and start a new life together.

Victor will detail that he is leaving his son with a phone and when it rings, he needs to answer it and be convincing. He will talk about how the two men have hurt one another a lot, but that this is for family, and Young and Restless spoilers note that they will share a touching moment.
Dylan will confront Chelsea about possibly helping her husband escape, and Young and Restless spoilers indicate that she will be offended by his insinuations. Chloe stands up for her friend, and Kevin and Dylan will note that something this well-orchestrated may well have been Victor’s handiwork.
Luca was making a big speech to all of Summer’s loved ones at Top of the Tower as Travis walked in, and Young and Restless spoilers detail that this arrival will shake things up. Travis will reveal that Luca orchestrated the oil incidents, and Summer bristles at all that Travis has to say. However, Victoria and Nick beg her to listen to what he has to share.

Summer will be furious at how everybody reacts to all of this, and she soon takes her fiance and storms away. In their apartment, Young and Restless spoilers indicate that Luca will voice anger over how her family is working so hard to hurt her. He urges her to head out of the country with him to get married as soon as possible. As We Love Soaps’ spoilers reveal, he is pushing her to decide between her family and him. However, Summer pushes back a bit, questioning why he would want to leave rather than stay and defend himself.
As the two talk through this, Young and Restless spoilers reveal that Luca will admit that he engineered the oil incidents. He swears, however, that all he wants is to be with her and she pushes back and tells him to turn himself in. The two start fighting over her phone as she threatens to make the call herself when Jack shows up. This confrontation will be quite ugly, with Luca starting to make threats, and it sounds as if viewers will be left hanging on this front for the weekend.
People will be buzzing about both Luca and Adam at the engagement party and Young and Restless spoilers note that people will realize that Victor and Nikki have slipped away. Dylan heads to the Newman ranch to confront Victor, while Victoria and Travis decide to get away from all of the chaos together and share some romantic moments. Daniel encounters Mariah for the first time and is left a bit stunned, while a drunken Noah is dragged away by Sharon.
When Dylan and Nick show up at the ranch looking for Victor, Nikki says that he had nothing to do with Adam’s escape and she heads out when Victor comes into the room. The Young and the Restless spoilers share that Victor will talk about being shocked to hear of the escape, and he pushes Dylan to find his son. He tries to shoo them both away from the house, but Dylan insists that he’s putting Victor under house arrest as they search for Adam.
The Young and the Restless spoilers detail that Nikki will show up at Chelsea’s penthouse and she will bypass the officers standing there and whisper to Chelsea that she gave Connor a phone with a number pre-programmed into it. She tells Chelsea to call the number when she has a moment alone. Soon, Chelsea will take Connor upstairs and dial the number. Adam answers and he starts to tell her that there is a way for them to be together.
Will Adam, Chelsea, and Connor really take off to be together and leave Genoa City behind? There has been talk of Justin Hartley taking at least a short break from Y&R as his new show on NBC becomes his focus for a bit. Fans are worried that Hartley may end up leaving Young and Restless entirely to focus on This Is Us, but no official decisions have been revealed yet.
