Did Yolanda Foster Beat Lyme Disease? She Claims She’s Reached The ‘Finish Line’ As ‘Real Housewives’ Casting Rumors Swirl

Has Yolanda Foster beaten Lyme disease for good?

Following a recent post on Instagram, the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star was believed to be free of her Lyme disease. Unfortunately, the mother of three later revealed that isn’t the case quite yet.

“Homebound with a grateful heart, Thank you Dr. Klinghardt for bringing me to and shining light on the finishing line of my health journey,” Yolanda Foster wrote on Instagram days ago, along with a photo taken on her flight from Seattle, Washington.

Right away, many believed Yolanda Foster’s comment about the “finish line” of her illness was a suggestion that she had finally been cured. However, a short time later, Yolanda Foster confirmed that was not the case with a post on Twitter.

“No, I hinted I can see [the] finishing line, haven’t crossed it yet but determined [to] do so soon,” she wrote in response to an article claiming she may be done with the disease.

Yolanda Foster appeared on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for four seasons before announcing she would be leaving the show. After being brought aboard the series during season three as a full-time housewife alongside Lisa Vanderpump, the best friend of her ex-husband, Mohamed Hadid, Foster continued to appear on the show as a close friend of Kim Richards and Brandi Glanville. Then, after Richards and Glanville left the show, Foster’s illness took center stage as rumors swirled regarding her possible exaggeration of her symptoms.

While Yolanda Foster’s co-stars claimed they didn’t feel that she wasn’t truly suffering from Lyme disease, the storyline continued throughout Season 6 and into the series’ reunion special.

In other Yolanda Foster news, the former reality star, who has been traveling since June when she announced she would no longer be seen on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, was recently tied to rumors of a possible addition to The Real Housewives of New York City.

Although Bravo hasn’t yet commented on the rumors regarding Yolanda Foster’s possible addition to The Real Housewives of New York City, series star Dorinda Medley recently spoke out about a potential casting on the show.

“I was actually at my home in the Berkshires and I was thinking, ‘How are we all going to come back and recover from all of this?’ And I don’t know if the way to do that is maybe to see some people drop out. Maybe add some fresh blood,” Medley explained to People Magazine after being asked about a potential addition to the series.

“We really bifurcated and took our sides and to bring us all back into the ring may be a little difficult. Some fresh blood could really help us out I think. Mix it up,” she added.

As for Yolanda Foster’s possible addition to the show, Medley said she would be “so happy” to have the former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star join her series.

“I think she would be perfect for it. She is a mother. She’s a grownup. She’s gone through a lot of different things personally and in her marriages and stuff. I think she’d be the perfect addition,” she explained.

Yolanda Foster currently lives in Los Angeles but is often in New York City with her daughters, Gigi and Bella Hadid.

Yolanda Foster has not yet addressed the possibility of relocating to the NYC-based Real Housewives franchise.
