Vicki Gunvalson Gives Shannon And David Her Best: Twitter Fans Don’t Believe Vow Renewal

Vicki Gunvalson has been working on getting back in her social circle with the Real Housewives of Orange County ladies. While Tamra Judge was quick to forgive her as they are old friends, many of the other housewives are not so quick to move on. In fact, Gunvalson is having a really hard time convincing Meghan King Edmonds and Shannon Beador that she did nothing wrong in the Brooks Ayers cancer scandal.

While Vicki claims that she knew nothing about his lies, both Meghan and Shannon are convinced that she must have known something. Plus, Gunvalson did admit to fabricating some stories so his stories seemed more believable. Shannon is ready to move on despite mixed signals, but Vicki wasn’t surprised to learn that she hadn’t been invited to a surprise party for Beador.

According to a new Bravo report, Vicki Gunvalson is now revealing that she wasn’t surprised to learn that she was being left out of the surprise party that David was having for his wife. David was not interested in having Vicki at his party for his wife, as the two of them had feuded just a few weeks prior. Beador is convinced that Gunvalson knew about his cancer lies, but Vicki wants David to take it up with Brooks — not her.

“When I found out that David had invited all the ladies and their spouses except Kelly and I to Shannon’s party I was sad that we are in this place, however I don’t blame David one bit. Given the fact he has turned so angry towards me, it was not appropriate for me to be there,” Vicki Gunvalson reveals on her Bravo blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County.

What Vicki didn’t realize at the time was that the surprise party was actually an effort to fix their marriage. It’s no secret that Shannon had felt completely betrayed by her husband after learning that he had cheated on her with another woman. This was something that played out on the previous season of the show. And while Gunvalson hadn’t been invited to the surprise vow renewal, she does wish the best for them.

“I thought the birthday party and the vow renewal was really special and it was nice having the ladies there to witness their re-commitment to each other. I wish them nothing but the best, as what they have had to endure not only privately but publicly has to be hard on both of them,” Vicki Gunvalson explains on her blog for The Real Housewives of Orange County.

Vicki reveals on her blog that she called Shannon to wish her a happy birthday so they could attempt to move on from all of the anger that she was experiencing. She only did it to be nice.

“I am not expecting Shannon and I to ever be best friends again, but I do expect us to be cordial and kind to one another,” Vicki points out.

And while Gunvalson wants the best for her former friend, people on Twitter were not as optimistic when watching the surprise vow renewal. In fact, Twitter viewers were very skeptical of David’s behavior and felt the whole thing was awkward.

“David is only with Shannon because of the kids. As soon as the twins get a bit older he’s gone,” one person on Twitter wrote, while others wrote things like, “Everything about Shannon and David is so contrived and awkward. They’re so oogey. I get the creeps looking at them” and “Just when you think it couldn’t get worse, Shannon & David’s forced happiness has reached awkward new levels.”

What do you think of Vicki Gunvalson wishing Shannon Beador the best? Do you think Vicki and her co-star should make up and be cordial with one another?
