‘Days Of Our Lives’: Ciara Brady Tells Chad DiMera How She Feels – How Does Abigail’s Husband React? [Spoilers]
Days Of Our Lives is on hiatus for one more week due to the Olympics airing on NBC. Thankfully, there are lots of DOOL spoilers available. The most recent information has to do with Ciara Brady and Chad DiMera. What happens with these two soap opera characters?

There will be a lot of drama in Salem when Days Of Our Lives returns. Not only will Clyde Weston (James Read) return with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Orpheus (George DelHoyo), but the town will be reeling by the news of Abigail’s death.
As fans know, Abigail isn’t really dead but is still missing. However, Andre DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) put a plan in motion to make sure Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) believed his wife was gone. The reason is still unknown, but fans believe it is so he can regain control over the DiMera estate and punish Chad at the same time.
When Days Of Our Lives returns, there will be a funeral for Abigail, formerly played by Kate Mansi. Chad will be grieving and so will Abby’s mother, Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves). As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Chad will make the stunning decision to drop the custody battle over Thomas. He believes that his son would be better off with Jennifer. Meanwhile, Abigail’s mother relapses and spends a night in a motel room popping pills and drinking booze until she passes out.
As viewers know, in the past few months on Days Of Our Lives, Ciara Brady (Vivian Jovanni) has fantasized and dreamt of a relationship with Chad. Until now, she has kept her feelings to herself. The only other person who suspects she has a crush on Chad is her friend, Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). DOOL spoilers from Soap Opera Digest reveal that Ciara will pick the worst time to tell Chad how she really feels. Instead of letting DiMera grieve, Ciara will decide to blurt out her love for Chad right after Abigail’s alleged death.
How does Chad react to Ciara professing her love right after Abigail’s death? According to the magazine, Billy Flynn’s character doesn’t take it seriously. He blows her off and obviously he has something more important on his mind than a teen crush. He was told Abigail died, has a son he is trying to raise, is in the middle of a custody battle, and Jennifer Horton is relapsing.
What else can fans expect when Days Of Our Lives returns? Tate will be found in Chicago, and the woman who has him claims Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) arranged the kidnapping scheme. He is arrested but insists that he is innocent. Victor and Sonny Kiriakis (Freddie Smith) are sure that Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) set up Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) husband.
Also, Aiden Jennings (Daniel Cosgrove) is the new district attorney in Salem. As Days Of Our Lives fans know, he is working with Andre, who wants Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to pay for what they did. Aiden will be looking through all of Justin’s files to make sure there “were no mistakes.” However, what Aiden is really doing is looking for proof that Hope killed Stefano DiMera (Joseph Mascolo). Not only that, but Rafe helped dispose of the body and then framed Andre for the crime. A preview from NBC reveals that Aiden wants Hope to confess to Stefano’s murder, but will she take the bait?
