‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Sam May Be Feeling The Cassadine Curse Already — Jason Is Sick, Baby Is In Jeopardy, And Run-In With Liz

Jason and Sam Morgan are having another baby on General Hospital, and most viewers are thrilled about it. However, there may already be a complication. Jason just came down with a case of malaria from being on Cassadine Island, and if Sam tests positive for it as well, their baby could be at risk. Sam is known for having pregnancy complications as it is, so this is not good for her or the baby. Is this all part of the Cassadine curse that Helena put on Sam?

The Cassadine curse is a big part of the history of General Hospital, as Luke and Laura Spencer know all about having to live with it. They were also cursed by Helena, and now Sam has been hit with it as well. She just got the surprising news that she is pregnant, but right away, she discovered that her baby could be in danger. Jason doesn’t know that she is having his baby just yet, but according to SheKnows Soaps, he will find out in just a few days.

One person who may find out about it before he does is Jason’s ex, Elizabeth Webber. In the preview for Thursday’s episode, Sam and Liz have a confrontation. These two women have always been at odds with each other, so it will be interesting to see Elizabeth’s reaction when she finds out that Sam is having another baby with Jason. However, she may not find out about the pregnancy just yet, but she will find out that Jason is in the hospital being treated for malaria after Sam reveals she is headed back there, and Liz asks her why.

The war between JaSam fans and Liason fans has been going on for years now. General Hospital viewers are very vocal about their feelings towards their girls, and Jason Morgan is in the middle of it all. It looks like Liz has moved on, possibly with Franco, but those feelings of animosity between the two women are still felt and probably always will be. However, Liz is a nurse, and she does still care about Jason’s health, and she may even have concern for Sam when she learns that her baby may be in danger.

In a recent interview that longtime General Hospital actress Kelly Monaco did with Michael Fairman of On Air On Soaps, she talked about the whole JaSam vs. Liason war with the fans, and she revealed how brutal it can get, which is one of the reasons she said she stays off of social media as much as she can. She said that she is okay with it as long as it is geared towards the characters and not them personally.

In real life, Kelly Monaco and Rebecca Herbst are good friends. You certainly wouldn’t know it by their characters on the soap, but that just shows what great acting these girls bring to the screen. Liz just may surprise on Thursday’s General Hospital when she seems to be concerned for Sam. But then again, she may just go running to Jason once she finds out that he is sick and that may not sit well with Sam.

While Sam has officially been cursed by Helena Cassadine, Liz also seems to have her difficulties with the matriarch as well. There are still questions on what happened to Jake on Cassadine Island while he was with Helena. She made Elizabeth believe that her son had died, while she really had the boy with her for years. It seems that anyone who has contact with Helena at all is doomed to have curses upon them at one time or another.

Now that Samantha Morgan is expecting a baby, JaSam fans are rejoicing. They can’t wait for the moment that she tells Jason the news. He will be happy and may even surprise his girl with a proposal soon. Remember that they got divorced so that they could start all over again with their relationship. This could just be the beginning of their life together as a family of four, but this sickness may just put a damper on their happy news.
