Gwen Stefani & Blake Shelton Hire A Wedding Planner, Make Getting Married A ‘Priority’

Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton are taking their relationship to the next level and planning a wedding.
According to a new report by TMZ, Gwen and Blake are getting serious and have allegedly already hired a wedding planner as they prepare to get married.
The site claimed this week that Stefani and Shelton, who first sparked dating rumors back in October, have hired celebrity wedding designer Jerri Woolworth to plan their upcoming wedding and could be announcing an engagement pretty soon.
Page Six reached out to Woolworth to confirm the news, though she reportedly played coy about the wedding rumors and refused to confirm reports suggesting she’d been hired to plan Stefani and Shelton’s big day.
“Rumors are circulating in their circle that they’ve begun preparations for a wedding,” a source close to Shelton and Stefani recently told the site, claiming that Gwen and her man have not set a date “but they’re planning ahead and having fun talking about it.”
The site also confirmed that Blake has yet to officially propose to Gwen, but did reveal that the two have gotten “very serious” and will more than likely be officially engaged and potentially married in the coming months.
“Blake and Gwen are madly in love, committed and planning for a future together,” People’s source said, hinting that a Shelton and Stefani wedding may be coming sooner rather than later.
Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have yet to comment on the swirling wedding reports, though the latest round of wedding and engagement claims come just days after a source told Us Weekly that Stefani and Shelton are now making getting married a “priority” after close to 10 months of dating.
“Getting married is a priority,” an insider confirmed of an impending wedding, admitting that both Blake and Gwen are committed to their relationship and are both “in it for the long haul” despite only divorcing their former spouses in recent months.
“They say things like, ‘When we get married’ all the time,” Us Weekly continued. “They have plans for their future together and have talked about where they will live and the possibility of more children.”
The site’s source also confirmed that Blake “has a plan” when it comes to just how and when he’ll propose to Gwen.
The Stefani and Shelton wedding and engagement claims come amid another revealing report by People which revealed that those closest to Gwen and Blake have actually been expecting them to announce that they’re officially engaged and getting married for a while now.
“Everyone is expecting it to happen at some point,” a source said of how Blake and Gwen’s inner circle expect an engagement to come soon, even hinting that Shelton could pop the question as soon as next month after Stefani wraps her “This Is What The Truth Feels Like Tour” on October 16.
Confirming that the two, who met while they were both serving as coaches on NBC’s The Voice in 2014, are most definitely in a “serious relationship,” People‘s Gwen and Blake insider revealed that Shelton more than likely would have already proposed had it not been for Stefani heading out on tour last month.
“It seems the timing [for an engagement] just hasn’t been right,” People‘s source admitted of why Stefani is still without a ring.
