Jacqueline Laurita Explains Why She Ambushed Teresa Giudice At Her Home

Jacqueline Laurita decided to come back on The Real Housewives of New Jersey after spending a few years out of the spotlight. Jacqueline wanted to focus on her autistic son and his treatments. Plus, Laurita and her husband had struggled financially, and they wanted to focus on what was important for them, which didn’t include filming the show for Bravo.

However, Laurita decided to come back on the show so she could work out her issues with Teresa Giudice. It is clear that these two have a long past, but Jacqueline was interested in working things out with her former best friend.

According to a new Bravo report, Jacqueline Laurita is now revealing why she decided to take her friendship with Teresa in her own hands and pursue an honest conversation. As fans saw on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, Laurita decided to buy a cup of coffee and stop by Teresa’s home when she was cleaning. And there was a reason behind this surprising visit: Jacqueline Laurita wanted to have an honest conversation, where Teresa didn’t have the time to think about what she was going to say.

“There is one thing you need to understand…Teresa and I have a long history together, and there was once genuine love between us, like sisters,” Jacqueline Laurita explains on her Real Housewives of New Jersey blog for Bravo, adding that she was questioning whether Teresa was truly genuine in wanting to work things out with her.

The two had previously tried to work things out before, but Laurita really struggled with Teresa’s lack of honesty. It was clear that she wanted to talk about Teresa’s legal problems, but Giudice didn’t want to open up about it. The two started fighting, and they later decided to make peace. However, Jacqueline Laurita is questioning whether Teresa means it this time, especially since she isn’t opening up about her time in jail.

“When you saw Teresa and I make up in season five, I felt it was a sincere start, AGAIN! But soon after she stopped engaging with me. When I heard Teresa publicly speak about me saying that she no longer wanted or missed the friendship, that is when I finally decided to walk away. I will never fight for a friendship if it’s not reciprocated…I moved on,” Jacqueline Laurita reveals about her position, sharing that she wasn’t planning on moving forward with her former friend.

“I came unannounced, because I didn’t want her to have time to prepare for what she would say to me, I wanted her to be real and in the moment. I wanted a genuine moment,” Jacqueline Laurita revealed on her Bravo blog, sharing that she wanted to come unannounced to surprise her former friend.

“I spoke with honesty and from my heart, and I was looking for the same in return. I wasn’t interested in being her part-time friend. I wanted our friendship to be real like it used to be, or we should just carry on as civil acquaintances. I needed to know how much energy I should be putting into this relationship,” Jacqueline Laurita points out on her blog for The Real Housewives of New Jersey.

Even though the two sat down to talk about their issues and wipe the slate clean, things aren’t as peaceful these days. According to E! Online, Giudice recently called out Jacqueline Laurita for making low blows against her. Laurita has also revealed that her co-star was being fake, so it sounds like this truce didn’t last long.
