Did Dorinda Medley Set Luann Up With Thomas Knowing About His Scandalous Past?

Dorinda Medley has revealed that she was the one who made the connection between Thomas D’Agostino and Luann de Lesseps. She knew both of them and thought that it would be a good fit, as they both enjoyed sex and had plenty of things in common. And while both Thomas and Luann are extremely happy that they have met one another, it sounds like some people are questioning whether Dorinda really did know about his scandalous past. After Luann met Thomas, it was revealed that Ramona Singer had dated him before and Sonja Morgan had used him on a friends-with-benefits basis.

According to a new Bravo report, Dorinda Medley is now revealing whether or not she knew about his salacious past when she introduced him to Luann de Lesseps. Since both Sonja and Ramona had no idea that they were sharing a man, it would make sense that Dorinda didn’t know about Thomas’ past with the ladies and his journey of dating three women from The Real Housewives of New York. Now, Medley is speaking out about what she knew about Thomas and Luann before hooking them up.

“Well, as you’ll see — and I can’t really go into it — but as you’ll see, I did not know about it for quite a while, and then I kind of found out about it in a very awkward time,” Dorinda Medley said about the relationship, according to Bravo, adding, “Which I can’t really go into but I was devastated for Luann. I’m devastated for them, not even just Luann. I know people are like, ‘I always, I want to believe that things are good. I want to believe that life is good. Why not believe in the fairy tale?’ I want to always believe in the positive.”

Of course, Sonja Morgan seems to be very upset with the way things have unfolded on The Real Housewives of New York. Morgan feels like de Lesseps had stolen her friend and her companion from her, as they did hook up once in a while and he was indeed someone who Morgan relied on. But Dorinda Medley admits that she knew nothing about Thomas’ past relationships with The Real Housewives of New York ladies and she wouldn’t hook him up with Luann if she knew that he had a history with two of the women.

“No, you’d think id introduce them if I knew all that was going on?” Dorinda Medley continued to Bravo, adding, “No, is the answer. I know I’m a bit of a village idiot sometimes, but no, I didn’t know. I knew Tom from a long time ago when he was friends with one of the girls that’s actually mentioned on the show. And I used to see him at the Meadow Club and see him randomly. It’s not like I was hanging out with Tom. I just knew him for years, so when I saw he was out again and single… and they’re very similar Tom and Luann.”

It is definitely interesting that Medley is distancing herself from the drama. And it is interesting that no one has questioned whether Dorinda knew anything about the relationships. Dorinda is close friends with Ramona, so it is possible that Singer has told her about who she was dating. Maybe Dorinda Medley didn’t put two-and-two together and didn’t realize that her co-stars were dating the same man. According to a Reality Tea report, Dorinda Medley has admitted to stirring the pot, but she admits that she has great intentions when she gets involved in the drama.
