Stassi Schroeder Has A Spinoff In The Works, Is She Leaving ‘Vanderpump Rules’?

Stassi Schroeder may be in the midst of filming on the upcoming fifth season of Vanderpump Rules, but according to her close friend, Taylor Strecker, she may be moving on to her own series soon.

Although Bravo TV has not yet announced any plans to award Stassi Schroeder with her own spinoff, her longtime friend thinks a spinoff, much like MTV’s The City (a spinoff of Lauren Conrad’s The Hills) would be perfect for the 28-year-old reality star and podcast host.

“When s**t was bad with Vanderpump, I said ‘Let’s get you like a spin-off like the way Whitney Port had it with The City,'” the Wake Up With Taylor host revealed to Radar Online on July 27.

“I said, ‘why don’t you come work at Sirius? We’ll get you a radio show because you’re fabulous, and then you can move here and they can do a reality show about you on the radio,'” Strecker explained.

After the second season of Vanderpump Rules, Stassi Schroeder claimed she was leaving the Bravo series, which is a spinoff of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, as she left Los Angeles and headed to New York City where she began living with her now-ex-boyfriend, Patrick Meagher. However, after just months in the Big Apple, Stassi Schroeder returned to Los Angeles with Meagher in tow and began filming a reduced role for Vanderpump Rules Season 3.

Following the reality series’ third season, Stassi Schroeder’s part-time role continued through Season 4, but as filming continues on Season 5, she appears to be spending much more time with her co-stars, including Scheana Marie, Kristen Doute and Katie Maloney, which may be a hint that she’s returning full-time.

As for her future spinoff, Strecker confirmed she and Stassi Schroeder were “still working on it!”

If Stassi Schroeder is awarded with her own show, fans will certainly be curious to see if she will stay with Vanderpump Rules or leave the show. But at this point, there doesn’t seem to be any reason to think that Schroeder will part ways with the series — especially now that her relationship with Meagher has come to an end.

As fans will recall, Stassi Schroeder’s former boyfriend refused to film scenes for Vanderpump Rules and was only discussed a few times on the series. So, now that the relationship has ended, Schroeder can dive into filming full-force without having to hold back a portion of her life from the cameras.

Last week, during an episode of her podcast, Straight Up With Stassi, Stassi Schroeder confirmed she was no longer dating Meagher.

“I’ve been trying to find the will to do this podcast because I’m just sad, and I really don’t have anything to say that’s just uplifting,” Stassi Schroeder explained, according to Reality Tea. “I’m going to talk about myself and what I’m going through.”

“I really love Patrick, and I’m in love with Patrick, and I think he’s a wonderful person. He’s funny and smart and everything I would want in a person, but we can’t get it together. We don’t not fight,” Stassi Schroeder continued. “He thinks I’m selfish, I think he’s judgmental. Then it just escalates … We argue all the time. It’s not about getting rid of Patrick, it’s about getting rid of this routine. We fight all the time.”

Stassi Schroeder and her co-stars will return to Bravo TV later this year for the fifth season of Vanderpump Rules.
