Is Fifth Harmony’s U.S. ‘7/27 Tour’ In Trouble?

Fifth Harmony’s U.S. leg of their upcoming 7/27 tour could be in trouble.

A new report by Perez Hilton is alleging that the Fifth Harmony girls are reportedly struggling to sell tickets for their upcoming string of shows around the U.S., set to kick off on July 27 in Manchester, New Hampshire.

The blogger claimed in a new post that Fifth Harmony’s U.S. shows still had “a ton” of seats still available for purchase, pointing to a number of fans who had taken to Twitter to post a slew of Ticketmaster screenshots of the available seating on social media.

Twitter user @leighstoubia posted the current seating charts for Fifth Harmony’s upcoming shows in Noblesville, Indiana, Tampa, Florida, Chicago, Illinois, and Darien, New York, on the social media site on July 25, all of which appeared to have at least two-thirds of seats remaining.

Twitter account @TheShadyFacts also posted screenshots of the available seats from a slew of Fifth Harmony’s upcoming 7/27 tour dates, tweeting “Fifth Harmony is having trouble selling out arenas in the USA look at all those empty blue seats.”

A number of Fifth Harmony fans took to social media to react to the news, with some defending the girls while others encouraged the “All In My Head (Flex)” singers and their fans to promote their upcoming shows.

“How bout instead of letting 7/27 flop you buy some tickets or promote the tour like why is this fandom so s****y pull yourselves together,” Fifth Harmony fan @camiIasprincess tweeted, and Twitter user @frappeagb wrote, “If 5H don’t start promoting 7/27 and their tour, its gonna flop real hard.”

“The girls have a single they could promote and a tour starting I really can’t believe they’re at home,” Fifth Harmony fan @TM_5H added, and @barbendavid wrote on the social media site, “5H needs Simon [Cowell] to promote them while they are on their tour to make people acutely BUY tickets to the tour…”

Other Fifth Harmony fans took to the social media site to slam Perez Hilton for calling out the girls ahead of their upcoming tour.

“Sadly… you’re mistaking our girls career with your own,” Fifth Harmony fan @ayyyeitsvee hit back at Perez, while @RiyadiArham scathingly told Perez on Twitter, “Shut up snake. At least their career better than yours. Bye.”

The girls have been teasing their upcoming shows on social media, with Fifth Harmony member Dinah Jane most recently telling fans that the girls were in rehearsal mode.

“I can’t wait for you to see what we have in store for this 7/27 tour!!” Dinah wrote on Facebook this week.

Fifth Harmony and their team are yet to comment on the rumors claiming that their upcoming shows aren’t selling as well as the girlband may have hoped, though the girl’s latest tour, which has already played eight shows in South America, is set to see them on the road until November.

Despite the U.S. leg of the tour’s alleged poor sales, Fifth Harmony currently have 35 shows scheduled around the U.S. and Canada, after which they’ll head to Europe to play a further 23 shows across a slew of European countries, including the U.K., Sweden, France, and Spain.

Amid the poor sales reports, stats show that Fifth Harmony have already seen a great deal of success from the South American leg, pulling in more than $2 million.

@5HSpice reported earlier this month that Fifth Harmony had grossed $2,320,832 from the South American leg of the 7/27 tour, alleging that six of the band’s eight shows in the continent were sold out and had an attendance score of more than 95 percent.

What do you think of the latest round of accusations claiming that the U.S. leg of Fifth Harmony’s 7/27 tour isn’t selling as well as the girlband had hoped?
