Kim Kardashian And Kanye West’s Taylor Swift ‘Publicity Stunt’ Feud Revoked

Late this week, it was widely reported that Kim Kardashian’s feud with Taylor Swift is nothing but a publicity stunt. According to Us Weekly, it was Fergie who suggested this.

“Sigh. Kim Kardashian’s pal Fergie suggested during an interview with Kyle and Jackie O that Kardashian’s feud with Taylor Swift is perhaps just one big ol’ publicity stunt.”

“You’ve gotta respect her for sticking up for her husband. Knowing them, it’s probably a big master plan. They’ll probably all come together at the MTV Awards or something,” Fergie is quoted as saying.

Us Weekly and the rest of the media ran with this story as if it was in the Bible. However, Gossip Cop has put the brakes on the rumor.

“Taylor Swift’s feud with Kim Kardashian and Kanye West is NOT a ‘publicity stunt,’ despite speculation. Gossip Cop can reveal what’s going on,” says columnist Shari Weiss, before accusing Us Weekly of adding fuel to the fire by not doing any fact checking.

The article notes that Taylor is definitely not agreeing to anything with Kardashian and West right now, and if all of this was a publicity stunt, it has made each side look bad in different ways. According to Pop Crush, Amber Rose has actually defended Kanye West over the controversy.

“Amber addressed the controversy surrounding Kanye and Taylor Swift in a sneak peek of an upcoming episode of The Amber Rose Show. Though she has no reason to defend Kanye considering some of the things he’s said about her in the press (remember that 30 showers line? Yikes), she did it anyway.”

“I’m not the biggest fan of Kanye. But I will say this. I was next to him at the VMAs that year and I remember the repercussions after that and I remember Taylor’s mother and father coming up to us and saying, ‘One day, Kanye, you’re gonna have a daughter and someone’s gonna do that to you,'” Rose is quoted as saying, before revealing that Kanye was completely remorseful, especially since he had just intended to defend Beyoncé.

Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian has other things to worry about now besides Taylor Swift. According to E! Online, Kardashian chipped her tooth right before heading out on a trip to Las Vegas.

“Kim Kardashian is lucky to have her very own tooth fairy. Just hours before the E! reality star departed for Las Vegas on Friday night (and gave E! News an exclusive interview), she suffered a minor medical mishap that sent her straight to the dentist’s chair. Kardashian took to Snapchat to document the entire debacle, admitting that she actually chipped part of her front tooth right off.”

As the article notes, this isn’t the first time Kim has experienced a setback on her way to Las Vegas. In April, her private plane encountered mechanical issues that delayed Kardashian from making it to a hosting gig.

Kardashian will also explain how she has sustained and expanded her influence in a media landscape that is often fickle. It will be interesting to see if Kardashian mentions her feud with Taylor Swift.
