‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Is Hayden More Than Just An Enemy To Elizabeth? Revelation From Naomi Reveals Much More
It looks like the General Hospital teasers are now coming to light. Elizabeth Webber and Hayden Barnes, aka Rachel Berlin, may be getting the shock of their lives as this current story line on the ABC daytime drama is heading towards these two enemies actually being sisters. As seen on Thursday’s episode, there was a huge hint of a secret that someone has been keeping for years that may be revealed very soon.
Naomi Dreyfus, Hayden’s mother, has been in town for a few weeks now, but she has only been seen off and on since she arrived in Port Charles. However, General Hospital is now getting to her back story and why she was brought in as a new character. As Soaps She Knows has mentioned, Naomi had a panic attack at the MetroCourt after she heard the name of Heather Webber mentioned by Scott, Lucy, and Franco. She got taken to the hospital where she encountered her daughter, and also a particular nurse, who she seems quite interested in getting to know a bit better.

While Hayden was checking up on her mom at General Hospital, Liz was assigned to Naomi and that brought on all sorts of strange vibes from the patient. Hayden and Elizabeth hate each other, but Naomi tells her daughter that she should be nicer to Elizabeth. Once she started to grill Liz about her past, Naomi went into another panic attack when she mentioned the name of her father, Jeff Webber.
“It’s a waste of time. Your father won’t care about me. Not the father you know, or the father you don’t know.”
This is exactly what was rumored to be coming up on the ABC soap. It has now been strongly suggested that Elizabeth and Hayden are sisters, or at least half-sisters. While it had previously been speculated by Celebrity Dirty Laundry that Naomi was Elizabeth’s mother and that the girls were split up years ago, it looks like that may not be the case at all. It is Hayden that has a different father and that may be Jeff Webber. This would mean that Naomi had an affair with Jeff and got pregnant with Hayden. Jeff probably never knew about the baby because Raymond Berlin paid big money to keep it under wraps and have him as the child’s daddy.
Who did he pay off to keep quiet about it? Of course, it has to be Heather Webber. She seems to be the go-to girl when it comes to babies and keeping past secrets. Plus, she was married to Jeff, which is how she became involved in this cover up. The money that Heather had given Franco recently, which is the same money that Franco just tried to give Elizabeth for camp fees for her kids, could be the same cash that was meant to keep her sister’s parentage a secret. What a tangled web they weave on General Hospital.

What will Liz do when she finds out that her new half-sis is the person that she dislikes the most? Will there be a happy reunion with hugs to go around? That is very doubtful, but she and Hayden may just end up calling a truce eventually. They can always share their relationship woes to each other. Hayden is still married to Nikolas, whom she thinks is dead, but it is obvious that she now has this chemistry with Dr. Finn. As seen on Thursday’s episode of General Hospital, Liz is getting ready for her first date with Franco, but that hush money from his mother may put a wrinkle into their newfound relationship.
