‘Days Of Our Lives’: Jen Lilley On Tate’s Kidnapping — Brady And Theresa’s Baby Won’t Be Found Soon? [Spoilers]

Warning: Days of Our Lives spoilers are ahead.

Jen Lilley plays Theresa Donovan on Days of Our Lives. In the fictional town of Salem, everyone is wondering who kidnapped Tate. Will Brady Black and Theresa Donovan’s baby be found anytime soon? The actress recently spoke about the soap opera storyline, revealing a few DOOL spoilers.

It was reported several weeks ago by Daytime Confidential that Jen Lilley is leaving Days of Our Lives. At the time, there were rumors that Theresa would die on the NBC soap opera. However, that was before Tate was kidnapped, which brings up a whole new set of speculations on how she will make her exit. Recently, the actress spoke to Soap Central about Tate’s kidnapping and leaving her soap opera family.

As previously reported by the Inquisitr, Eric Martsolf spoke about Tate’s kidnapping last week. Everyone thought that Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson) kidnapped Tate. Brady and Theresa went to Las Vegas to confront Maggie’s (Suzanne Rogers) daughter. She didn’t have the child, but it turns out she did take the $100,000 for the job.

On yesterday’s episode of Days of Our Lives, Summer was trying to convince Brady and Theresa she had nothing to do with Tate’s abduction. Also, Brady interrogated Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) about his possible involvement in the crime. However, he denied having anything to do with it.

What is next for Brady, Theresa, and baby Tate? It turns out that the baby won’t be found anytime soon. Soap Central revealed in their interview that the kidnapping storyline will run through August. That may seem to be only a month for viewers, but can be much longer in soap opera time.

“I think it’s bringing up old feelings actually, since this is technically Tate’s second kidnapping. It’s stirring up all of Theresa’s old insecurities and fears: she’s not good enough for Brady, she’s an unfit mother, she’ll never be accepted by the Kiriakis family,” Jen Lilley told Soap Central regarding Tate’s abduction. “The difference is, this time around, Theresa knows Tate is her son, and she’s held him, and loved him, and raised him, so her fears and insecurities take a back burner to her love for Tate and her determination to find him. Tate’s disappearance is once again making Theresa more selfless. She’s putting Tate before everyone, and unfortunately, that will understandably test her relationship with Brady.”

Regarding Brady and Theresa’s relationship on Days of Our Lives, Lilley wouldn’t reveal if they will make it or not. When a tragedy, such as a kidnapping affects a couple it will either make them stronger or completely break them apart. Right now, Theresa is lashing out at everyone, including Brady Black. As time goes by, Theresa Donovan will continue to experience emotional turmoil.

“She’s a grieving mother,” Lilley explained about Theresa Donovan’s storyline. “She’ll go through some dark storms, isolating herself from the people she loves. She’ll experience madness, numbness, and absolute heartache with a few silver linings.”

Jen Lilley also said that she hopes to return to Days of Our Lives one day. This should give fans hope that maybe the writers won’t kill Theresa Donovan.

Besides Brady and Theresa’s kidnapping storyline, what other big plots are planned? Days of Our Lives spoilers from She Knows tease that there will be chaos in the summer months, Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) will plan revenge, and Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) will ask Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) for a fresh start. There is also John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) wedding.
