Is Dorinda Medley The Biggest Pot Stirrer On The ‘Real Housewives Of New York’?
It’s hard to overshadow Bethenny Frankel on the Real Housewives of New York. Despite Frankel’s dominance in front of the camera, there is another cast member who’s been making waves behind the scenes: Dorinda Medley.
According to E! Online, Medley is easily this season’s biggest pot stirrer.
Not only has Medley retained an enormous amount of information, but she’s also been relaying it to the other Housewives.
Medley’s activities help pace the drama this season and keep it moving forward. Medley did this when she talked about Luann de Lesseps’ return with Ramona Singer.
However, Medley’s ploy may be up.
In a recent promo clip for a coming episode, Frankel and Carole Radziwill revealed they know about Medley’s tricks.
In the latest installment of the Real Housewives of New York, Jules Wainstein got into an epic fight with Frankel during a group dinner. Wainstein was fed up with rumors about her marriage and got mad at Frankel for not asking about her hurt vagina.
“I even said to Jules, ‘Honestly, I’m confused because I didn’t under where all that was coming from,” Radziwill explained to Frankel. “She said, ‘Well, it was building up, building up.’ I was like, ‘OK.’ And then she said something about Dorinda. I said I asked Dorinda and she said she didn’t understand where it came from either. Then Jules kind of looked at me like, ‘Really?’ Dorinda I think -”
“Stirred the pot,” Frankel jumped in. “So she got away clean.”
Radziwill concluded that Radziwill is “a little s**t-stirrer.”
Will Frankel and Radziwill confront Medley about her gossiping?
As far as de Lesseps is concerned, Reality Tea reports that she isn’t happy about the drama this season and even less thrilled about Dorinda Medley’s part in it all.
“While watching this episode, I noticed how when Jules or I open up about what’s going on with our lives, instead of becoming closer to the other ladies, they use it against us,” de Lesseps shared. “I’m in love with Tom, and I’m happier than I’ve been in years, so why can’t the girls just be glad for me and be sympathetic to Jules’ eating disorder? Dorinda’s been stirring the pot, I think, to keep herself out of the spotlight, but eventually, what goes around comes around.”
In fact, Medley claims that rumors about de Lessep’s relationship make her feel “uncomfortable.”
Tom has been involved with several different women on the show, including Sonja Morgan and Singer.
“Credit to Lu, she doesn’t seem to mind about the past and is all focused on her future,” Medley stated. “She’s happy, so that’s that. At the end of the day, it’s not my business to poke around in it.”
Although it isn’t Medley’s business, she admitted that she doesn’t like it when people talk about de Lessep’s dating life.
“At this point, I think it’s clear – what works for me may not work for other relationships,” she wrote. “With that said, it makes me really uncomfortable to see Luann’s relationship with Tom – however ‘young’ it may be – be scrutinized and judged like this. But I do understand there is quite an ‘element of surprise’ in all this.”
It isn’t clear what Medley meant by the “element of surprise,” though it will likely come out at some point this season.
Fans can watch the drama unfold when new episodes of the Real Housewives of New York air Wednesday nights on Bravo.
