Kristen Stewart Opens Up About Her Relationship With Robert Pattinson, Calls Their ‘Twilight’ Romance ‘Overwhelming’
Kristen Stewart recently opened up about her Twilight romance with Robert Pattinson.
It’s been a long time since Stewart and Pattinson parted ways, though the memory is still fresh in the actress’ mind.
According to Parent Herald, the script for Equals forced Stewart to come to terms with her first love.
“I read the script and I was just like, ‘This is going to suck and hurt to think about,'” Stewart explained to Entertainment Tonight. “You just place yourself in that feeling that maybe you’ve had before – it’s the most visceral, intense, overwhelming feeling – so when it’s really great, it’s epically great, and when it’s really bad, it’s epically bad.”
Stewart’s relationship with Pattinson has been heavily scrutinized, even after they parted ways.
Recently, Stewart made a drastic change in her hairstyle, going from brown to blonde. The change in appearance led some to speculate that Stewart and Pattinson had reunited.
However, Kristen Stewart only changed her hairstyle because she had a long break between movie roles.
“For the first time ever, I changed my hair for not a role,” she revealed to MTV. “I had a little bit of time off and I was like, ‘I’m going to scrape my knees and possibly get a bunch more tattoos, and shave my head,’ and I settled on lesser forms of all of that.”
This is not the first time rumors have surfaced about a possible reunion.
According to Movie News Guide, the former Twilight stars still share love for each other. Apparently, their feelings are so strong that they are secretly back together.
Pattinson is currently engaged to British singer FKA Twigs, while Stewart is allegedly in a relationship with Alicia Cargile. Despite their attachments, Stewart and Pattinson are dating behind everyone’s back.
These reports followed speculation that Pattinson is having second thoughts about marrying Twigs. Pattinson is experiencing cold feet because he isn’t sure if Twigs loves him or his money.
For her part, Twigs is suspected of being jealous and is afraid that Pattinson will return Stewart.
Fashion & Style reports that Twigs is tired of all the rumors surrounding her relationship with Pattinson.
“Being in the public eye is so weird,” she explained during a chat with Elle. “People want to shame you. It’s not a celebration of a talent.”
Twigs has fought rumors of being overly eccentric and outspoken. However, she isn’t ready to let rumors get in the way of her life.
“Everyone’s always chatting and not delivering. I’m the opposite,” she added. “I just like to deliver my work.”
It’s too early to tell if Pattinson and Twigs will call off their wedding. If the rumors about a new romance with Stewart are true, then a break-up is likely to follow soon.
Although the Twilight star normally keeps his professional and private lives under wraps, he opened up about his work in the fashion industry in an interview with Numero Magazine.
“My style is influenced by the cities I go to, sourcing fabrics and local skills. In Los Angeles, it’s really easy to work with denim and do work wear inspired clothes. In England, I look more towards wool and knitwear. What I do is pretty multifaceted, clothes for men and for women, things that I make with friends,” he shared.
At the same time, Pattinson admitted hesitation in branching outside of his comfort zone.
“I’ve accepted the idea that it takes time for the most amazing projects to come into existence. Crazy things are the most fragile things. Sometimes they collapse,” he concluded.
