‘Rogue One’ Comes To ‘Star Wars Battlefront’ As The Final Expansion Pack

As Star Wars: Rogue One has completed filming, the next addition to the Star Wars universe is an expansion pack to the game Battlefront. Although the original game comes from the original trilogy, there are four expansion packs that will be added to the game.

The Verge reported that the announcement was made about the Rogue One expansion pack at the Star Wars Celebration in London. Design director Niklas Fegraeus made the announcement at a gaming panel that was part of the celebration. Entertainment Arts (EA) is working alongside Lucasfilm to produce the games.

There are four different DLC packs for the game, the first two focusing on the Outer Rim, Jabba the Hutt’s Palace, and Cloud City. Cloud City was featured in Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. The third, which will be released in the fall, focuses on the Death Star. Although it is unclear what will be included with the final pack featuring Rogue One, it is expected to tie in with the release of the movie in December.

As previously reported in Inquisitr, Darth Vader is back, and he will make an appearance in Rogue One. In a clip presented at the celebration in London, it showed a glimpse of Darth Vader. James Earl Jones, the original voice of Darth Vader, returned to do the voice in Star Wars: Rogue One.

Gizmodo reported that although Star Wars: Rogue One will become part of Battlefront, The Force Awakens, the seventh installment of the Star Wars saga, won’t. Fans of the game wanted to see content that came from beyond the original Star Wars trilogy. The new expansion pack will be called Rogue One: Scarif, and it will be named after the beach planet that is featured in the movie.

The package will allow players to play across the beach planet in the movie. It will also allow players to play as either the primary hero or villain from Rogue One. The primary hero of the movie is Jyn Erso, while the villain is Director Krennic. Although no other details were revealed about the Rogue One expansion pack, it will appear in time for the movie.

The Nerdist reported that the latest Star Wars character, and one that appears in Rogue One, is a space monkey. The monkey was presented at the Star Wars Celebration in London as part of a sizzle reel. This is a new character to the Star Wars universe and gave those who attended the celebration a chance to get a feel for what Rogue One would be like. It has been compared to a World War II spy movie, and shows how intense and reality based the filming techniques for the movie were.

Actor Warwick Davis, a regular in the Star Wars universe and one of the actors from Rogue One, headed the panel at the celebration and introduced the new character. The panel discussed the creation of the new critters and robots for Rogue One, and the final few minutes of the panel unveiled characters from The Force Awakens.

Although the new creature that appears in Rogue One was dubbed a space monkey by the crew, it’s not clear exactly what type of species it is. From his behavior at the celebration though, the space monkey gave the impression to the crowd that it is obnoxious.
