Calvin Harris Won’t Let Taylor Swift Sabotage His Career, Supports Katy Perry In ‘Bad Blood’ War

Calvin Harris is sickened by the fact that Taylor Swift’s team allegedly tried to sabotage his career, and sources say that the hitmaker won’t stand for it.

Following their breakup last month, Calvin chose not to respond to rumors regarding Taylor’s sudden move to start dating her new man, Tom Hiddleston. Several outlets claimed that Swift was cheating on Harris with Hiddleston before she consequently decided to end her relationship with the 32-year-old.

And while Harris was devastated by the news that Taylor had already moved on, just a week after their split, he was willing to take the high road and move on with his life.

But according to reports, Taylor Swift has been trying to damage Calvin Harris’ career by putting out stories to the media that portray him as the bad guy — at least, this is what the “How Deep Is Your Love” producer thinks.

Yesterday, it was revealed how Taylor reportedly wrote Calvin’s latest hit, “This Is What You Came For,” and even added her own vocals on the track.

Calvin did admit that his ex-girlfriend contributed in making the song a hit, but from his point of view, Taylor was deliberately putting the story out there in order to make it seem as if Calvin had no creative control over his own work.

Taylor was left fuming when Harris then went on a radio station back in May and claimed that he had no plans on working with Swift on a record in the near future, even though the Rihanna-led track had already been completed.

Taylor was under the impression that Calvin wanted all the credit for the success of the song, The Guardian adds, but her decision to wait six weeks before making a statement through her team has left Harris convinced that she’s out to sabotage the career he has built for himself.

“Calvin is obviously furious with Taylor,” Hollywood Life alleges. “He feels that she’s gone too far attacking his career. She’s trying to take money out of his hands, and food out of his mouth. She’s viciously trying to sabotage his career.”

Calvin Harris has reportedly told pals that he’s worked hard to get to where he is today. He’s convinced that Taylor Swift’s decision to make it known that she wrote “This Is What You Came For” is a clear attempt to make the music producer look bad.

Harris is rather baffled as to why Taylor would be coming after him in the first place. After all, she was the one who decided to end the relationship and move on with Tom Hiddleston, leaving him gobsmacked when Swift told him via a text message that she wanted to call it quits.

Whatever the case may be, a source continues to add that, “Calvin takes great pride in being not just a DJ spinning beats, but a full fledged musician. It’s part of his brand and for [Taylor] to attack him is an attempt to hurt him professionally.”

“If she wants to take shots at him about their relationship or his failings as a boyfriend that’s fine, but don’t try to ruin his professional life too.”

During a brief Twitter rant yesterday evening, Calvin Harris concluded by saying that Taylor will not sabotage his career like she tried with Katy Perry.

The former country singer has yet to respond to claims that she was deliberately trying to hurt Katy during their feud, which all started with the supposed fact that Perry had stolen Swift’s background dancers in the midst of planning her world tour.

Katy, on the other hand, seems to be siding with Calvin in this whole debacle, retweeting a tweet she wrote in 2015, which said, “Time, the Ultimate Truth Teller.”
