‘Real Housewives’ Star Vicki Gunvalson’s Daughter Continues To Struggle With Illness

The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson has been very worried about her daughter for years. On this week’s episode of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Briana Culberson revealed that she had undergone surgery, and she was in huge amounts of pain. Culberson had severe pain in her leg, but she chose to drive back to Orange County with her mother despite the trip being 21 hours long with two children in the back. Now, Vicki is revealing that what fans are seeing on The Real Housewives of Orange County is sadly still continuing today as Culberson is still very sick.

According to a new Instagram post, The Real Housewives of Orange County star Vicki Gunvalson is now sharing that they are back in the doctor’s office in hopes of figuring out what has been plaguing Briana for so many years.

“Another day, another Dr visit. Thank you for those that reached out to Briana and I about her health. We are determined to find out what the heck is wrong with her,” the Real Housewives of Orange County star revealed, sharing a vague photo from the doctor’s office with no one in sight.

On previous episodes of The Real Housewives of Orange County, Vicki has revealed that her daughter has struggled with lymph nodes. A few years ago, Briana revealed that her lymph nodes were enlarged all over her body, and she was tested for cancer. She recently had another test done, and it was negative.

Gunvalson also reveals that Briana had a PET scan done, and they are waiting for usable answers. These days, Culberson is not back at work at the hospital. Instead, for the past seven months, she’s been sick. But as Vicki explains, her daughter is alive, and they are working to find out what is wrong. Meanwhile, the Real Housewives of Orange County star is helping out where possible, including babysitting her grandsons.

“Had a great night babysitting my grandsons. I took them to the beach while Briana had Ryan went to their best friends wedding. I love weddings. Maybe someday again,” Gunvalson previously revealed on Instagram.

According to Yahoo, Vicki recently opened up about her daughter’s scary illness that fans are currently seeing on The Real Housewives of Orange County. On next week’s episode, Briana is rushed to the hospital because she can’t breathe. As it turns out, she had been suffering from surgery complications due to a cross-contamination, and Vicki is furious.

“I flew there at night, picked her up in Oklahoma and drove her across the country to get her to California,” Vicki explains to Yahoo about her daughter, adding, “We went immediately into the hospital. She was admitted three weeks in isolation. She had a cross-contamination, hospital-acquired infection from a hospital in Oklahoma. Very, very sick.”

“She still is having residual effects from doctor’s error in Oklahoma. They were going to kill my daughter, basically. So, I got her out of there,” the Real Housewives of Orange County star explains, adding that she’s going to seek out the doctor who did this. “My family is my everything, and I’m gonna find this doctor. He was going to kill my daughter. So, when I do find him, I’ll probably pull him up against a wall and tell him what I think of him… I want to go on a witch hunt for him.” It sounds like the doctor from Oklahoma may need to look for some legal advice in case Vicki decides to hunt him down and sue for malpractice. No word on what she plans on doing, but she’s clearly scared for her daughter’s life and the experiences they have gone through over the past seven months.
