Mila Kunis Reminds Trump Supports That She Was A Refugee Too

Mila Kunis remembered her days as a refugee when she was perturbed by Donald Trump’s anti-refugee rhetoric. The 32-year-old actress, who gained fame by appearing on That ’70s Show, had fled with her family from the Ukrainian SSR to the U.S. when a wave of anti-Semitism swept across the country. According to the Independent, Mila Kunis lashed out at Donald Trump’s anti-refugee agenda and asserted that she hasn’t harmed the US in any way.

“We came here on a religious refugee visa. And I’m not going to blow this country up. I’m clearly paying taxes. I’m not taking anything away.”

Even though she criticized Donald Trump’s stance against immigration policies, Mila Kunis is quick to point out that Americans themselves are to be blamed for harboring anti-immigrant sentiments. The Ted actress is saddened by the fact that American citizens have developed a feeling of being threatened by people from different parts of the world.

Mila Kunis sadly remembers the hardships that her family had to endure when they migrated to the U.S. Her family of seven arrived on the American shores with only $250, and her father strived to make ends meet by doing odd jobs like painting houses, driving a cab, delivering pizzas, and even installing toilets. However, Mila’s parents never made her feel like they lacked for anything, and the actress says that the loving, supportive family she came from inspired her to be a loving wife and mother for her own family.

According to News Australia, Mila Kunis is madly in love with her husband, Ashton Kutcher.

In fact, the actress recalled a time when she even despised Ashton when he was at the peak of his career. However, her feelings transitioned to love soon after the couple discovered that they were best friends and felt like they were made for each other. And even though, like most married couples, the two of them have friendly fights, they are quick to sort out their issues without causing any lasting damage to their relationship.

The couple welcomed their first child in 2014, and Mila Kunis is once again expecting a baby, which the couple is eagerly anticipating. Mila Kunis revealed that her daughter brings joy into their lives and that she especially loves seeing her 19-month-old daughter sweetly hugging other children.

Mila Kunis’s motherhood and pregnancy haven’t stopped her from giving makeup tips and from appearing on high-profile magazine covers. Cosmopolitan reports that the actress featured on the cover of Glamour’s August issue, and Mila even dared to do a photo shoot without wearing makeup.

Although Mila went without makeup for the photo shoot, she does recommend using a face cream and eyeliner at other times. Mila’s decision to go against the traditional makeup rules conveys her fearless attitude and the willingness to be different.

Mila’s dare-to-be-different attitude is echoed by her on-screen character in Bad Moms, Mila’s upcoming comedy film about an overworked mother who teams up with two other over-stressed moms to enjoy life in a way that is not expected by a conventional mother. Although she is not a “Bad Mom” in her real life, Mila does confess that raising kids can be a tough challenge.

There are times when toddlers are so energetic that parents need to keep a constant watch on them even while they are playing. For example, there are some playing facilities that are meant for older children, and it can be a risk when toddlers insist on playing in jungle gyms that are inappropriate for them. According to Pop Sugar, Mila Kunis feels that today’s parents overhype the issues that they face while raising their children in a child-centric world.

She credits her parents for raising their children so beautifully without complaining about the challenges they faced. In Mila’s opinion, she receives considerable support from her husband and parents to allow her to cope with her parenting challenges. The actress recommends referring to Dr. Spock’s Baby and Child Care, a book that was trusted even by her mother.
