Katie Holmes: Turns Down Matthew Perry And Over Jamie Foxx After 3 Years?

Katie Holmes has been a hot topic these days due to the reported secretive romance she and Django Unchained star, Jamie Foxx have carried on over the past little while. Although neither have admitted to the romance, it’s clear that Katie and Jamie have been spending quite a bit of time together and friends of the stars have done the verifying for the lovebirds.

New reports claim that Jamie and Katie have been secretly seeing one another for a full three years! However, new information about the pair indicates that they’ve perhaps reached a crossroads in their relationship, and are at different places, which has now brought on a split.

The issue is reportedly based on the fact that Jamie has a hectic travel schedule and is not quite ready for a full commitment. Hollywood Take relayed information from a source who has spoken on the subject of an apparent Katie/Jamie breakup.

“At one point, Katie thought he’d be her husband. They talked about getting married. But they got wrapped up in their careers and she realized he really wasn’t a settle-down type of guy. In the end, the split was mutual.”

Other sources, however, insist that the pair has not split and are still seeing each other regularly. It’s tough to keep up with the saga of the reported romance between Holmes and Foxx, seeing as it’s one that neither one has confirmed. Back in March, tabloids speculated that the pair was even engaged. This story was proven false, yet friends of the pair are adamant that the two are an item.

Seeing as Foxx and Homes never truly commented on the romance reports, it’s unlikely there will be any response from Katie and Foxx on the latest split reports. The couple has been speculated to be dating since 2013. Foxx insisted that the rumors were “100 percent not true,” at that time, and the star also stated in spring of 2015 that he and Katie were “just friends.”

However, a new development got thrown into the mix last week, when rumors started to swirl that Katie, who stars in the TV series The Kennedys: Before Camelot, and her co-star Matthew Perry were getting flirtatious off screen.

Gossip Cop shares about the apparent advance Perry made at Katie, via the words of a source who spoke to a well-known tabloid.

“A so-called “insider’ is quoted as saying, ‘Katie was thrilled when she heard that she was going to be working with Matthew, and they got along great, at first. They would talk about old episodes of ‘Friends’ in between takes. She even confessed to having had a crush on Chandler when she was younger,’ continues the supposed source. But everything allegedly changed when Perry ‘made a move.'”

The publication went on to say that Holmes, although flattered, was not for beginning a romance with her co-star and set out to let Perry down easy.

“Katie tried to let Matthew down gently, but he remains hopeful. He’s convinced she’ll change her mind.”

However, as Gossip Cop notes, this specific tabloid is not one with the greatest track record on Matthew Perry matters, seeing as last year it was the culprit in spurring on a story that the actor and Courteney Cox were “friends with benefits,” and that Perry was “off the wagon” because his career was fizzling.

Perry’s career is red hot and all other romantic claims are simply not true. GC shares that they got to the truth and a rep for Holmes shares that no exchange ever happened that involved Matthew Perry making a pass at his beautiful co-star, Katie.
