Are Jennifer Garner And Ben Affleck Calling Off Their Divorce?
Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck announced plans for divorce over one year ago, but so far, their split has yet to be finalized, and as the former couple continues to spend time with one another in Europe and Los Angeles, reconciliation rumors are swirling.
After the couple enjoyed spending time with their three kids, Violet, 10; Seraphina, 7; and Samuel, 4, over the Fourth of July holiday, sources claim Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck could be headed for a reunion.
“They’re still figuring things out,” a friend of Jennifer Garner explained to People Magazine on July 6. “Ben still doesn’t want the divorce and he might actually get his way.”

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have played coy about their relationship and possible reconciliation in the past, but since revealing they would divorce, they have continued living together and are often seen spending weekends as a family. They’ve also gone on family trips.
Months ago, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck temporarily relocated to London with their three children as Affleck filmed Justice League, and while in Europe, they were spotted sightseeing throughout the country.
“[Jennifer Garner] had the best time in Europe with Ben and the kids,” said her friend. “She seemed much happier when she returned to L.A. Jen went from being very adamant that a divorce would happen to instead avoiding any divorce talk.”

Just days ago, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck, who recently returned to Los Angeles from London, were photographed as they enjoyed a local parade in celebration of the Fourth of July. As Radar Online revealed on July 5, Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck walked together throughout the event, and at one point, their youngest child, Samuel, was seen on Affleck’s shoulders.
“There is no rush to file [for divorce]. They are enjoying life where they are right now,” a source close to Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck added to People Magazine, with another adding, “Nothing has changed [in their relationship]. They’re still all about putting the kids first.”
While Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck don’t talk much about what’s going on between them, Affleck recently addressed their goals for their kids during an interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
“We’re goods friends and we’re doing our best, and the kids are fabulous and we’re working on our best for them,” he explained, according to a report by the Mirror.
Meanwhile, Jennifer Garner addressed their split, and Affleck’s alleged affair with their former nanny, during an interview with Vanity Fair magazine in February.
“Let me just tell you something. We had been separated for months before I ever heard about the nanny,” Garner admitted. “She had nothing to do with our decision to divorce. She was not part of the equation. Bad judgment? Yes. It’s not great for your kids for [a nanny] to disappear from their lives.”
“It was a real marriage. It wasn’t for the camera, and it was a huge priority for me to stay in it. And that did not work,” she continued. “It’s not Ben’s job to make me happy. The main thing is these kids — and we’re completely in line with what we hope for them. Sure, I lost the dream of dancing with my husband at my daughter’s wedding. But you should see their faces when he walks through the door. And if you see your kids love someone so purely and wholly, then you’re going to be friends with that person.”
