‘RHOC’ Star Tamra Judge Has No Belly Button In New Photo — Find Out Why

RHOC star Tamra Judge has no belly button in a new photo posted to Instagram two weeks ago. Fans have been wondering ever since why the 48-year-old “ripped” grandma and mom of four has a completely smooth tummy where a belly button should be. Tamra Judge, who’s been a regular cast member of The Real Housewives of Orange County since Season 3, explained what happened to her belly button on Monday’s episode of Bravo’s own late-night talk show, Watch What Happens: Live with Andy Cohen.

Fox News shared the infamous photo of Tamra Judge sporting a pink and black two-piece bathing suit and no belly button on Tuesday. Since Judge posted the photo on her personal Instagram account two weeks ago, her followers have been asking, “Where the h*ll is your belly button?” Some are even saying that the photo “freaks” them out. Other followers of Judge are speculating that the Southern California native actually had plastic surgery to remove her belly button.

Tamra Judge decided to put all rumors to rest and finally explain the missing navel. According to the RHOC star on Watch What Happens: Live on Monday, there’s a smooth depression on her stomach where a belly button should be because she had gastric hernia surgery three years ago. Judge said that after her stomach wall had burst and five hours of surgery later, she was left with no belly button. Tamra went on thank RHOC co-star Heather Dubrow’s husband, plastic surgeon and TV personality, Terry Dubrow, for his help during and after the ordeal.

“I was home alone and experienced excruciating pain. I called Dr. Terry Dubrow immediately, and he told me to call 911. Terry stayed on the phone with me while the paramedics took me to the hospital. He also communicated with the on-call surgeon. My stomach wall had burst due to gastric hernia. Five hours of surgery, and this is what I was left with.

“Yep, I have a scar and a screwed up belly button, but my intestines were saved. Thank you, Dubrow, for being that doctor that cared and took the time. If you need a new case for E!’s Botched, you got my digits.”

Following the Watch What Happens: Live interview, Tamra Judge, formerly known as Tamra Barney before she married Eddie Judge in 2013, felt the need to gross out her Instagram followers even further when she shared another photo of a gash down the middle of her stomach with the caption, “I know this is gross, but I keep getting asked the same question.” Judge said that this is the last time she’ll explain why she has no belly button. The open gash goes straight through where Tamra’s belly button should be and has left her with a scar that has smoothed over within the last several years.

Tamra Judge’s RHOC fans say they are glad she’s alright, and that they would take a scar over death any day. Some even say that they never even noticed Judge had no belly button, because they were too busy looking at her “hard” body. TooFab reported on Tuesday that Judge is currently on a fitness journey and is sporting a slimmer body and a tighter face after “perfecting her body” to compete in fitness competitions, including the Fitness Universe bodybuilding competition, Musclemania America, one month ago.

People reported in May that the Bravo star actually won a trophy after participating in the Musclemania weekend competition, saying it was all thanks to hard work and determination. Tamra thanked her trainer, Mia Finnegan, for her Musclemania win. A video clip posted to Bravo TV on Tuesday shows Tamra Judge calling Mia a “good Christian” that she can learn from.

“Mia is not just my trainer. She’s my therapist. She is my spiritual guidance. She’s kind of like my priest.”

Tamra Judge went on to say that fitness competitions give her some control in her life when there are so many other things that are out of her control right now, including her relationship with her daughter and her friendship with fellow RHOC co-star Vicki Gunvalson.
