‘Southern Charm’ Kathryn Dennis Accused Of Violent Behavior On Set As Custody Drama Continues

Kathryn Dennis has been accused of violence on the set of Southern Charm.

Following the third season of the Bravo reality series, the single mother faced her co-stars for a dramatic reunion episode, in which Kathryn Dennis’ relationship and her son’s paternity was discussed as a report claimed she wreaked havoc behind the scenes.

“People in the cast have seen [Kathryn Dennis] spit at crew members and throw lit cigarettes at them. Once she broke a $5000 camera in a fit of rage,” an insider revealed to All About the Tea on June 27. “None of the cast are snobs, but they truly never knew if or when [Kathryn Dennis] was going to have a psychotic episode.”

According to the report, Kathryn Dennis’ co-stars kept their distance from her throughout the season due to her allegedly erratic behavior, and despite many allegations of the cast members being mean-spirited, the source claims they only did so to avoid an escalated situation.

“Hopefully more will come to light after the reunion, so that [Kathryn Dennis’] situation is no longer glamorized, and that she is shown to not be the victim of unfair exclusion,” the source explained.

On June 27, Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel were scheduled to appear in a South Carolina court room for a standard hearing in their ongoing custody battle over their 2-year-old daughter Kensington and seven-month-old son St. Julien, but during the hearing, Ravenel’s attorney was expected to request an emergency hearing with Judge Dana A. Morris to reassess their case.

According to a report by All About the Tea on June 25, Ravenel’s emergency request came after Kathryn Dennis failed a drug test, which was requested by her own attorney, and tested positive for cocaine, marijuana, and opiates during a June 9 custody hearing. Meanwhile, Ravenel was completely clean of drugs.

Following Kathryn Dennis’ failed drug test, Ravenel received joint custody and unsupervised visitation while Dennis was granted supervised visitation with their children. However, after Kathryn Dennis initially agreed to the terms, she reportedly changed her mind about “everything she agreed on.”

Kathryn Dennis has also reportedly cut ties with her custody attorney, who was the reality star’s fifth lawyer on the case. Apparently, Kathryn Dennis is convinced her legal professionals have been working with Ravenel to ensure his success in their custody battle.

Below are several of the terms of Kathryn Dennis and Thomas Ravenel’s agreed upon deal on June 9, via All About the Tea.

  • “Thomas was granted unsupervised joint custody of the two children, Kensington and St. Julien.”
  • “Kathryn was granted supervised joint custody — Thomas agreed to allow Kathryn’s parents to supervise her time with the children.”
  • “Custody will be split 50/50, with each parent alternating a week of custody.”
  • “No drug use will be permitted.”
  • “No paramours are allowed between certain hours in the home of either parent.”
  • “No abuse of prescription drugs will be permitted.”
  • “No drinking alcohol is allowed.”
  • “Each parent MUST refrain from any alcohol or drug use, 12 hours prior to picking up the children for their designated week of custody.”

Kathryn Dennis has not yet spoken out about losing primary custody of her children to her ex-partner, Ravenel, but her co-star, Landon Clements, did bring up custody details during the reunion.
